Please forgive my sins. If the noble one does not come here, I will go there. The king knew that if he went there, it would harm many people. So, the Arhat Named, went to Pāṭaliputra. Every day he taught the Dharma to the king. Every night he went to the temple and imparted teachings to the fourfold assembly. From the time the king met the Arhat Named, he became very devout. Day and night he spent his time only doing virtuous deeds. Every day he would offer to thirty million monks. In the meantime, the Arhat Named was staying in other places such as Magadha. The king sent about five hundred merchants to the Jewel Island to fetch jewels. They built the ship well, filled it with various jewels, and then came back. While resting on the seashore, the nagas sent waves and carried all the goods into the sea. After that, they relied on other sources of livelihood and gradually came back. One day, it was said that in seven days the merchants would arrive at Pāṭaliputra. Those who had not heard what had happened, Brahmins, wanderers, and countless people gathered together, saying that they would see the color and wonderful qualities of the jewels. On the seventh day, the king, together with the crowd, went to the garden. Those merchants came exhausted, wearing only their upper garments. People were very disappointed, laughed at them, and then dispersed. The king asked the reason, and the merchants told the story. They urged the king, saying: If the god does not again bring the nagas under control, no one will be willing to fetch jewels in the future. The god should devise a method. Thereupon the king was perplexed and asked the wise men for a method. The Brahmins and wanderers, etc., did not know. Then an Arhat with six superknowledges thought: The god will show the method. If the Arhat himself shows it, the king will suspect that he is biased towards the monks.

The next day, gathering all the people, he told the deity's prophecy and asked: What should be done? The ministers said: Ask the Arhat who was the prophet yesterday. So he was invited and consulted. He said: A method must be used to make people believe. Then King Ashoka commanded: Listen, dragons! etc., using these words to connect. Return the jewels that the merchants bought back to the merchants. Write these words on a copper plate and throw it into the Ganges. At the great crossroads of the city road, at the top of a very high stone pillar, in a container of eight Dhatu (Sanskrit, Aṣṭadhātu, eight kinds of Dhatu), place a statue of the king and a statue of the dragon made of gold respectively. The next day, looking at it, the dragons were furious, and with a huge storm, they threw the copper plate at the gate of the palace. The king's statue went to the dragon's statue and prostrated to it. The king asked the Arhat: Now the dragons have greater merit, so in order to increase your merit again, O king, please make offerings to the Buddha and the Sangha. He advised. So he offered to the Buddha image and the supreme objects, seven times more than before. That Arhat went to the gods and dragons and other places in an instant, and conveyed the message to all the Arhats. The king also built a huge festival house. That Arhat struck the Ghanti (Sanskrit, ghaṇṭī, Ghanti), until all the Arhats from Mount Sumeru and the surrounding areas gathered together. He offered all the necessities to the sixty thousand Arhats who gathered for three months. At that time, the king's statue grew larger every day, and after forty-five days, the two statues of the king and the dragon became the same size.

If that is done, it will be even more amazing. After saying this, they did as they were told. On the seventh day, the king was surrounded by countless people, and the dragons came in the form of merchants, offered the treasures, touched the king's feet, and let the people watch. At that time, a grand festival was also held. There, the king also accomplished the knowledge-mantra of the Yaksha chariot, and many four-limbed armies of Yakshas appeared, such as horses as big as elephants and men as tall as palm trees. All other countries, including the south of Abikṣet (འབིགས་བྱེད།), were brought under control without harm. Based on the northern snow mountains, the snow mountains behind Li-yul (ལི་ཡུལ།), and the Jambudvipa that reaches the ocean in the east, south, and west, he ruled about fifty small islands. After that, the Arhat Name proclaimed the prophecy of the Teacher, the perfectly complete Buddha, and urged, "Please adorn the earth with stupas that have the essence of the Tathagata's relics." Because the Buddha's relics were needed, in order to retrieve the relics of King Ajatashatru, which were buried as treasures under the great stupa of Rajagriha (རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ།), the king and the Arhat Name went there with the crowd. When they dug the ground, after digging about three men's height, there was an iron wheel burning with flames violently rotating below, so they could not find a place to take it.
