Then, seeing a giant with many servants, the Teacher manifested himself as the Teacher to him, and he offered a golden double-layered robe and put it on the Teacher's body. After that, to symbolize that the Teacher's body was very bright, immeasurable rays of light emanated, and the monks arose doubts and inquired. Then, the Teacher entered a river and bathed, sitting on the bank of the river with only one robe. He dispelled Chunda's doubts. On one side of the middle bank of that river, he appeared to be sleeping, with Ananda standing nearby. Then, going further away, in the lower part of a place there was a city of giants, and in the upper part it was like a garden, decorated with various trees, with very tall sal trees at both ends. In the middle of the two trees, a bed with a pillow was arranged, and he arrived at that garden. He appeared to be sleeping on the bed. On one side of that city, many giants gathered, and a monk was giving a sermon. A giant woman came with her retinue, and on one side of that garden he preached the Dharma to them. Outside the garden, Ananda taught the giants what he had learned, and they returned to the city and left. Again, he drew a picture of the same twin sal tree grove as before. The Teacher was sitting on the ground leaning on a tree in a reclining position, and in front of him was a monk whose body was emitting intense light. He stood up and went outside. Ananda grabbed the foot of the bed and appeared to be shedding tears. In the distant sky to the left, from the gaps in the clouds, to symbolize the city of the Thirty-Three Heavens on the summit of Mount Meru, in an immeasurable palace, there was a Gandharva playing a lute, and at the door there was also someone playing a similar beryl lute. He and the Gandharva's doorkeeper were talking, and the Gandharva inside the palace was also talking to the doorkeeper. Then, the two Gandharvas appeared outside the palace, playing lutes with complete strings, and playing lutes as if half of the strings were cut. One cut all the strings and put it aside, and the other cut the strings but still held it in his hand and sang.

On one side of that, there is a depiction of the Teacher teaching the Dharma to Drizas. Between the two Sala tree groves, a thin new line connects them. In front of the gate of the upper Sala grove, there is a depiction of an old wandering beggar and a monk talking. On the other side inside that grove, there is a depiction of the Teacher teaching the Dharma to that wandering person, and light radiating from his body, and then he becomes a monk. Outside the grove, he enters meditation and passes into Nirvana. The non-Buddhists see the form of a non-Buddhist, while others see the form of a monk. The non-Buddhists cannot even lift the coffin. It is placed on a stone in the middle of the pond, ready for cremation, but the coffin sinks into the pond, and the creatures in the water are frightened and flee from the water's edge. But the monks can lift the coffin, and the coffin sinks into the water without harming the creatures. The non-Buddhists cannot light the fire, but the monks can light it, and many people are watching. Also, a third Sala grove is depicted, with the Teacher sleeping on a bed, surrounded by monks, teaching the Dharma in his sleep, rising into the sky, wearing a robe on his upper body, and the Teacher radiating immeasurable light to the monks. Around that, on the left, right, back, top, and sides, is a vast crowd of gods without end. Outside the grove in front, are the four types of human retinues, men, women, etc., residing there. Also depicted are birds, beasts, animals, horses, cattle, and many other creatures. Holding various offerings, a heavy rain of flowers falls from the sky, as well as clothes, jewels, and other offerings. Then, on one side outside of that, there is a long iron coffin with a lid, the lid decorated with exquisite carvings. It is lifted by giants, with many offerings being made, and then lifted again. The coffin is lifted by eight giants, surrounded by many people making offerings. There are also many people carrying bundles of cotton cloth, and colored cloths.
