They took fruits, grains, and food, and distributed them to other monks as before. On one side next to it, Devadatta and his fourfold retinue also distributed food and Dharma robes to many monks. Then, many monks were led by Devadatta and went to a certain place on the other side of the river, in the depths of the forest, where those monks sat in a circle. Devadatta sat in the center and spoke. One monk acted as if he was distributing wooden staffs. Again, that group went to another place and sat down. The king sent many carts filled with food. Also, in a wide open space, Devadatta acted as if he was teaching the Dharma, with two monks placed on his left and right as attendants. From a distance, depict one of the supreme pairs appearing. Also, depict two monks running away from Devadatta's left and right sides, and one of the supreme pairs standing on the left and right. Also, depict Devadatta using his Dharma robe as a pillow, sleeping with his mouth open, Maudgalyayana's son showing various miracles in the sky, Shariputra teaching the Dharma to the retinue, and one monk pointing his finger at the sleeping Devadatta. Then, one of the supreme pairs led the monks away. Devadatta was overwhelmed by sleep, and one monk tried to wake him up, but he did not wake up. Next to him, depict him waking up later and chasing after them, with a large canyon blocking the way in front of him. Finally, he turned back and acted as if he was punching his own friend, a monk. Then, on this side of the river, depict the supreme pair and those monks on the road, and all of them listening to the Dharma in the presence of the teacher, with rays of light surrounding the assembly. These are the scenes of the Sangha splitting and one of the supreme pairs reconciling them. (Ti) Then, inside a room, there is a king who looks slightly old, with a thin and emaciated body, appearing as if he is imprisoned. In front of him, a monk is teaching the Dharma. On the mountainside on the other side, depict the footprints of the Buddha walking, with rays of light emanating from his body, the prison.
