Then, the Blessed One said: Even if you climb to the top of Mount Sumeru and look, you will not see the edge of my crown. However, under the ground beneath the hearth where you perform sacrifices, there is a stupa made of excellent sandalwood earth. Dig it up and measure it, and that is the height of my body born from my parents. After he said this, that person also dug up the ground beneath the hearth, and the stupa appeared. He became very devout, and after hearing the Dharma, he saw the truth. He asked the Teacher for permission and erected the pillar of the stupa on the vast land, and therefore it was called the festival of the Lord of Power. The summary in between is: One's own country, the prophecy of Kapilavastu, protecting the region and the elephant, named the Lord of Power, established the festival. The ninth is the Brahmin village, etc.: After that, they decided to go to the Brahmin village, so they set off. When he displayed great miracles, the heretics fled to the remote areas to settle down. There, there were many heretics in the Brahmin village. When they heard that the Teacher was coming to the Brahmin village, they thought: This will cut off our livelihood. So those heretics went to the people of the Brahmin village and said: You have only seen wealth, but you have not seen that decline is coming. And so on, similar to the chapter on building a city. If we kill Gautama, we can stay. Then many people from the Brahmin village put on armor, took up sticks, bows and arrows, and so on, and set off. They met an old Shakya on the road. Where are you going? To kill the enemy. Who is the enemy? Gautama. If he is the enemy, then who is the friend? They were told to go back, but they could not be persuaded to turn back. After they went, they camped at night under a rocky mountain. That old Shakya thought: These people will not become vessels for the Teacher to teach the Dharma, but will suppress the other side. So he set fire to the forest of that rocky mountain, and the soldiers of the Brahmin village were surrounded by fire and shouted loudly. All the people of the rocky mountain ran to put out the fire, but the fire grew bigger and could not be extinguished. The Blessed One towards that direction

Then, (the Buddha) asked, "Do you want this fire to be extinguished?" They replied, "Please let it be extinguished." As soon as the words were spoken, the fire extinguished itself. After that, they were all very convinced, respectfully prostrated, and sat beside the Buddha. The World Honored One preached the Dharma to them, and most of the people in the Brahmin village and those in the mountain rocks saw the truth. After that, (the Buddha) went to the Black Village in the country of Rohita. There, (the Buddha) pointed to the ground and said, "The past Buddhas Krakucchanda, Kanakamuni, and Kashyapa once lived here." The World Honored One himself also lived there, saying, "This place will be inhabited by four Buddhas." Thus, he indicated the seats of the four Buddhas. After that, (the Buddha) went to the Yaksha's residence in the Black Village, where he preached the Dharma and stayed. The Yaksha Great Strength offered five hundred boxes of grapes and distributed them to the Sangha. That Yaksha and many other Yakshas took refuge in the Three Jewels and abided by the precepts. For the benefit of the Yakshas, the locals built five hundred temples. In this way, (the Buddha) saved the Wide and Great City from harm. After that, (the Buddha) benefited sentient beings in places close to the north. There are many other small stories between those places, but only the general situation is recorded here. Interim summary: Brahmin village and indication of four seats, Great Strength Yaksha in the Black Village. One hundred chapters are about taming the northern region: Then, the World Honored One stayed in the temple of the Black Village, and went out to alms in the morning. After washing his feet, he sat in the temple. The World Honored One thought: My remaining lifespan is short, and there are still many sentient beings to be tamed. If I go with Ananda, I will not be able to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings in the northern region even in a hundred years. Now I will go with the Yaksha Vajrapani, that is, the Holy Lord of Secrets. Thinking this, he said to Vajrapani: Now I am going to tame the hairless ones. After that, the World Honored One went with the Yaksha Vajrapani, flying in the sky, The green forests are lush and verdant,
