When the foot was cut by a razor, the king was greatly distressed by the pain. Shakyamuni Buddha sent Maudgalyayana's son, who went to the prison by means of supernatural power, and by the command of Shakyamuni Buddha said, 'May the king's illness be cured, your actions as a virtuous friend have already been completed, and you have been liberated from the evil realms.' This is experiencing the result of your own karma, so take refuge in karma! ' After learning of this command, the king said, 'Holy one, where is the delicious food?' In the realm of the Four Great Kings. Then Maudgalyayana's son came. Ajatashatru's son, Good Star, had a boil on the tip of his finger and cried. Ajatashatru put his finger in his mouth, the boil burst in his mouth, and when he spat it on the ground and saw the pus and blood, he cried even more. At that time, Devasmita said, 'This is in the family line, you were like this before, but your father was afraid and worried about the time, so he swallowed the pus and blood.' At that time, Ajatashatru was without hatred and said, 'If my father loved me like that, if someone said my father was alive, I would give him half of the kingdom.' Many people were very happy and ran towards the prison. The embodied one felt the great noise, was frightened, and immediately after death was born in the lap of Vaishravana and enjoyed nectar. Vaishravana asked, 'Who are you?' He said, 'I am the Victorious Lion's Roar.' Therefore, that name became well known. At that time, Ajatashatru was overwhelmed by the unbearable grief of his father's death. To comfort him, the ministers summoned a dancer who came from the south and had him dance, but the grief did not subside. When the dancers came out, they saw the Buddha coming in that direction, developed faith, beat the clay drum and danced. Shakyamuni Buddha emitted and retracted rays of light, prophesying that the dancer would become the Self-Born Buddha Drum Sound. Eighty, Devadatta's wrong livelihood is: After that, Devadatta said to Ajatashatru, 'I have already made you king, you make me Buddha!' The king said, 'Shakyamuni Buddha is golden in color

If (you) have it, you don't. Then Devadatta summoned a goldsmith and said, 'Cover my body with gold.' The goldsmith said, 'This will cause intense and unbearable sensations, can you endure it?' (Devadatta) said, 'I can endure it.' So, he smeared his body with an oil called "Tsanyu", melted gold, and covered it with gold leaf, (Devadatta) experienced unbearable pain. Again, he said to King Ajatasatru as before, 'If Shakyamuni has wheel marks on the soles of his feet, you don't.' Devadatta summoned a blacksmith and said, 'Can you draw wheel marks on the soles of my feet?' and so on, the same as before. The blacksmith thought, 'This person is very strong, if he feels pain, he might kick me and even kill me.' He made a hole in the wall, and from this side he put in Devadatta's foot, on the other side, he heated an iron wheel on the fire and pressed it on the sole of Devadatta's foot, drawing wheel marks, (Devadatta) experienced unbearable pain. Then, Devadatta said to the king, 'I made you king, but you can't make me a Buddha. Now I will kill Gautama myself, don't tell anyone for now.' At that time, a teacher of mechanics came from the south, and Devadatta said to him, 'Hey, mechanic, can you hire five hundred people and build a catapult that can throw huge stones?' The mechanic said, 'Yes.' So he gave him a pearl necklace worth a million taels of gold, found a thousand workers, paid them wages separately, and installed a catapult on the top of the mountain directly opposite where the World Honored One (Bhagavan) was staying on Vulture Peak (Grdhrakuta Mountain), and arranged for five hundred people to launch it. Two hundred and fifty people were stationed at a strategic point connecting the main roads on the left and right of Vulture Peak. In addition, two hundred and fifty people were scattered in other places such as road and alley junctions. He ordered them, 'If the catapult fails to kill Gautama, whoever Gautama appears in front of, kill him.' (Devadatta) thought, 'If these people can't do it, I will do it myself.' So he himself also held a sharp sword, stayed in a corner, looking around and patrolling.
