Experienced wealth. In his house, there was no distinction between day and night. When King Rupin went to that house, even though seven days had passed, it felt like only one day. Later, when Ajatashatru ascended the throne, even after exchanging the house of Fire-born and the royal palace seven times, wherever Ajatashatru resided became ordinary. His house remained like a celestial palace as before, so they began to send troops to plunder it. When the armored ones approached the bird's wings of that house, they were drawn in like magnets and hung like bells. It is said that it was like that. After that, he gave away all his wealth and went before the Teacher. Having been fully ordained with "Come here," he became an Arhat. The story of the robber is similar. Again, in Magadha, at Yaksha Five Peaks, the Yaksha Sati's daughter, Delight-maker, was given as a bride. She gave birth to one to five hundred sons in succession. At that time, Delight-maker, proud of her sons, did not listen to Five Peaks either, and separated her household, wandering in mountains, forests, and uncertain places. After that, all pregnant women in Magadha, the fetuses died, and all the children born also died, not one survived. The diviners urged them to make offerings of torma because the Yaksha was angry. Then, all the people, including the king, adorned the city with all kinds of ornaments. They made great offerings to the gods and Yakshas, but it was of no use. The gods of the royal capital prophesied: "The Yaksha Delight-maker will harm you. Please ask the Blessed One to subdue her." Then the people said, "This one steals the children of the Magadhas, so she is a robber." Thus, she was called by the name of the robber. At that time, all the pregnant women of Magadha began to flee to other lands, but the robber herself manifested a terrifying form and blocked the road, so they could not escape. Then, at the urging of the Magadhas, King Rupin requested the Teacher to subdue the Yaksha robber. The Blessed One also considered that the time for subduing had come, and without saying anything, gave his permission. Then, one morning, the Blessed One went to the city.

After going for alms, when it was afternoon, (the Buddha) went to the abode of the ogress. At that time, the ogress herself, along with her other children, had gone to a place to forage for food. The youngest son, named 'Joyful,' was alone at home. Then, the Blessed One covered Joyful with his alms bowl and blessed him so that he could see others, but others could not see him. After that, the ogress came immediately, but could not find her son Joyful, so she searched around the house, but could not see him. She asked the other sons, but they had not seen him either. With tears filling her eyes, she ran through the towns, markets, and streets of Rajagriha, crying out, 'Alas, my son!' But no one answered, and no one saw him. After that, she crossed six great cities and nine black mountains, as well as other continents, seven golden mountains, and the terraces of Mount Meru, but could not find him. When she reached the summit of Mount Meru and was about to enter the city of the Thirty-Three, she was stopped by the yakshas holding vajras. After that, she went to Champaka Grove and asked and prayed to the yaksha king Vaishravana, and Vaishravana's son said, 'Who came to your abode during the day?' The ogress said, 'The ascetic Gautama came.' (Vaishravana's son said:) 'Then go and take refuge in him, and he will show you your son Joyful.' Hearing this, the ogress felt as if she had regained life from losing it, and returned to her abode. She prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One and said, 'Ascetic Gautama, please show me my son Joyful.' (The Buddha) said, 'You are known to have many sons, how many are there?' (The ogress) replied, 'There are five hundred.' (The Buddha) said, 'Then what is the loss of one missing?' (The ogress) replied, 'If I do not see my son Joyful, I will vomit hot blood and die.' (The Buddha) said, 'Knowing such suffering of being separated from a son, why do you eat the sons of others? Those who have only one son, how much suffering will they endure if they are killed?' After that, she also vowed to act according to (the Buddha's) teachings, giving fearlessness to the Magadhas, and when she properly took refuge and the precepts, she also saw Joyful.
