་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་དག་གོ་རྗོད་ཅིག་ཅེས་སོགས་རྒྱས་པར་བསླབས་ནས། བྲིས་སྐུ་དྲི་བཟང་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བགོས་ཏེ་ལེགས་པར་གྲིལ་ནས་གསེར་ དང་དངུལ་དང་ཟངས་ཀྱི་དོང་བུར་རིམ་པས་བཅུག །གོས་མཆོག་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་དཀྲིས། གྲོང་ཁྱེར་མཛེས་པར་བྱེད་པ་སོགས་བཀུར་བསྟི་ཆེན་པོ་དང་བཅས་ཏེ་སྐྱེས་སུ་བསྐུར་བ་ལས་རིམ་གྱིས་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་སུ་ཕྱིན་ཞིང་འཕྲིན་གྱི་ཡི་གེ་སྔར་ཁྱེར་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨུ་ཏྲ་ཡ་ཎ་ལ་ཕུལ་བ་ལས། འཇིག་རྟེན་གསུམ་ན་ཆེས་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པའི་སྐྱེས་བསྐུར་ཡོད་ན། དཔག་ཚད་ཕྱེད་དང་གསུམ་ལམ་མཛེས་པར་བྱེད་པ་དང༌། བདག་ཉིད་དཔུང་དང་བཅས་པས་བསུ་བ་མཛོད། ས་ཕྱོགས་ཡངས་པར་བཀུར་བསྟི་ཆེན་པོ་དང་བཅས་ཏེ་ཁ་དབྱེ་བར་མཛོད། ཅེས་བྱ་བ་འདུག་ནས། ཨུ་ཏྲ་ཡ་ཎ་ནི་དེ་ཙམ་པའི་སྐྱེས་ཅི་ཞིག་བསྐུར་ན། འདིས་ངལ་བརྙས་སོ་སྙམ་ཁྲོས་ཏེ་དམག་ཤོམས་ཤིག་ཟེར་བ་ལ་བློན་པོ་རྣམས་ན་རེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་ནི་བདག་ཉིད་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་ལགས་ཞེས་གདའ་ན། སྐྱེས་ངན་ངོན་ཞིག་མི་བསྐུར་བས་དང་པོར་གཟིགས་ཤིང་བརྟགས་ལ་ཐུགས་མ་མཉེས་ན་དེ་ལྟར་བགྱིའོ། །དེར་ཡི་གེའི་ནང་ནས་ཇི་སྐད་བསྒོ་བ་བཞིན་བྱས་ཏེ། ས་ཕྱོགས་ཡངས་པ་ཞིག་ཏུ་རས་བྲིས་དེ་ཤིང་རིང་པོ་ལ་གཟར་ཏེ་ཞལ་ཕྱེ་བ་ན། ཡུལ་དབུས་ཀྱི་ཚོང་པ་དག་གིས་མཐོང་ནས། སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ་ཞེས་སྐད་ཕྱུང་ངོ༌། །རྒྱལ་པོས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་སྒྲ་སྔར་མ་ཐོས་པ་དེར་ཐོས་ནས་སྤུ་ཟིང་ཞེས་བྱེད་ཅིང་མིག་འབྲུ་ཚུགས་སུ་ལྟའོ། །སངས་རྒྱས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་སུ་ཞིག དེར་སྟོན་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་བསྙད་ཅིང༌། འོག་གི་ཡི་གེ་འདི་ཅི་ཞེས་པ་ལ་སྐྱབས་འགྲོ་དང་བསླབ་གཞི་ནི་བསྒྲུབ་པར་བྱ་བ་ཡིན་པ་དང༌། རྟེན་འབྲེལ་ནི་བསམ་པར་བྱ་བ་དང༌། སྟེང་གི་ཡི་གེ་ནི་ཁྱད་པར་ཐོབ་པས་མངོན་པར་སྤྲོ་བར་བྱ་བ་ཡིན་པར་བརྡ་སྤྲད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་བྲིས་སྐུའི་སྟེང་གི་ནམ་མཁའ་ནས་ལྷ་མང་པོས་མཆོད་པར་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་བྲིས་སྐུ་ཕོ་བྲང་གི་ཁང་བཟང་དུ་སྤྱན་དྲངས། མཆོད་པ་དུ་མས་ཡོངས་སུ་མཆོད་དེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཉིད་གཙང་སྦྲ་དང་བཅས་ པས་སྐྱབས་འགྲོ་དང་བསླབ་གཞི་བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་བླངས། རྟེན་འབྲེལ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་དོན་བསམས་པས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་མཚན་མོ་འདས་པའི་མཐར་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཞུགས་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡང་ཐོབ། དེ་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་བ་དང་ཆེད་དུ་བརྗོད་པ། རིང་ན་བཞུགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིས། །ཤེས་རབ་མིག་ནི་རྣམ་པར་སྤྱངས། །གང་ལ་དེ་འདྲའི་གསོས་མངའ་བ། །སྨན་པའི་མཆོག་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །ཞེ

像这样详细地教导他们。用各种香料涂抹画像，精心卷好后，依次放入金、银、铜制的筒中。用各种华丽的丝绸包裹。以盛大的礼仪迎接，如同迎接一座美丽的城市。逐渐地，名声传播开来，信使带着信件先行，献给邬陀罗衍那国王。信中写道：如果有一份在三界中最卓越的礼物，那么请在方圆三又二分之一的道路上装饰道路，并亲自率领军队迎接。请在宽阔的地方以盛大的礼仪打开它。邬陀罗衍那心想：这究竟是什么样的礼物，竟要如此大费周章？他怒道：这是在轻视我！准备军队！大臣们说：那位国王是一位伟人。不会送来劣质的礼物，请先观看并检查，如果不合您的心意，再那样做。于是，按照信中的指示，在一个宽阔的地方，将丝绸画像悬挂在长长的木杆上，打开后，中部地区的商人们看到后，高呼：向佛陀致敬！国王以前从未听过“佛陀”这个词，听到后感到毛骨悚然，睁大眼睛凝视着。佛陀是谁？于是他们讲述了导师的功德。问：下面的文字是什么意思？他们解释说：皈依和学处是应该实践的，缘起是应该思考的，上面的文字是因获得殊胜而应该感到高兴的。当时，许多天神从画像上方的天空中进行供养。之后，画像被迎请到王宫的楼阁中。以众多的供品进行供养。国王亲自沐浴洁净后，亲自受持皈依和学处。思考十二缘起的含义，就在当晚结束时，获得了入流果。这是为了真实地看见和特别地宣说：长久居住的佛陀，以智慧之眼彻底照亮。谁拥有如此的滋养，我向最伟大的医生致敬！

After instructing them in detail, such as how to understand this, the painted image was anointed with various fragrant substances, carefully rolled up, and placed sequentially in tubes made of gold, silver, and copper. It was wrapped in various exquisite cloths. With great reverence, as if welcoming a beautiful city, it was sent as a gift. Gradually, the fame spread, and a messenger carried a letter ahead and presented it to King Utrayana. The letter stated: If there is a gift that is most extraordinary in the three realms, then please adorn the path for a distance of three and a half yojanas, and personally lead an army to welcome it. Please open it in a wide area with great reverence. Utrayana thought: What kind of gift is this that requires so much effort? He was angered, thinking, "This is belittling me! Prepare the army!" The ministers said: That king is a great being. He would not send a poor gift. Please first look and examine it, and if it does not please your heart, then do as you wish. Then, according to the instructions in the letter, in a wide area, the silk painting was hung on a long pole and opened. When the merchants of the central region saw it, they exclaimed: "Homage to the Buddha!" The king, having never heard the word "Buddha" before, felt his hair stand on end and stared intently. Who is this Buddha? Then they recounted the qualities of the teacher. When asked, "What is the meaning of the writing below?" they explained: "Taking refuge and the precepts are to be practiced, dependent origination is to be contemplated, and the writing above indicates that one should rejoice in having attained distinction." At that time, many gods made offerings from the sky above the painted image. Then, the painted image was invited to the palace's upper chamber. It was offered with numerous offerings. The king himself, having purified himself, personally took refuge and the precepts. By contemplating the meaning of the twelve links of dependent origination, he attained the fruit of stream-entry at the end of that very night. This is to truly see and especially proclaim: The Buddha, who dwells afar, has completely illuminated the eye of wisdom. To whom belongs such nourishment, I pay homage to the greatest of physicians!
