་མོད། རིགས་ངན་དུ་མ་སྐྱེས་ན་བདག་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བ་ཞིག་སྙམ་དུ་ཡིད་མི་བདེ་བར་འདུག་པ་འཕགས་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་མཁྱེན་ནས། སྟོན་པའི་གསུང་རབ་ལ་རིགས་དང་རུས་སྙིང་པོར་བྱེད་པ་མ་ཡིན། སྒྲུབ་པ་སྙིང་པོར་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཞེས་སོགས་དབུགས་ཕྱུང་ནས་སྟོན་པའི་སྤྱན་སྔར་ཁྲིད་དེ། སྟོན་པས་ཀྱང་ཉེ་བར་འཁོར་ཚུར་ཤོག་གིས་བསྙེན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་མཛད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཤཱཀྱ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་རྣམས། ཁྲུས་ཟིན་ནས་འཁོར་ཏེ། རྒན་རིམ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བའི་སྐབས། ཉེ་བར་འཁོར་གྱི་ཐད་དུ་སླེབ་པ་ན། བཟང་ལྡན་གྱིས་ཉེ་བར་འཁོར་ཡིན་པར་ཤེས་ནས། ཅི་བདག་གིས་འདིའི་རྐང་པ་ལའང་བཏུད་པར་བགྱིའམ། ཞེས་གསོལ་པས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བུ་ང་རྒྱལ་སྤོང་བའི་ཕྱིར་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན་པས་འདི་རྒན་གྱི། ང་རྒྱལ་དང་དྲེགས་པ་ཆོག་ལ་བཏུད་ཅིག དེ་ནས་ཉེ་བར་འཁོར་གྱི་རྐང་པ་ལ་བཟང་ལྡན་གྱིས་མགོ་བོས་བཏུད་པས་ས་ཆེན་པོ་རྣམ་པ་དྲུག་ཏུ་གཡོས་སོ། །དེ་ལ་འདི་རྒན་གྱི་ཞེས་པ་ནི། བསླབ་པ་རྒན་པ་སྟེ་ན་ཚོད་རྒན་པའི་དོན་མིན་ནོ། །དེ་ནས་གཞན་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་བཀའ་བཞིན་བྱས་ལ། ལྷས་བྱིན་གྱིས་མ་བཏུད་དེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ ཀྱིས་བཏུད་ཅིག་པར་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་ན། ངས་འདིའི་རྐང་པ་ལ་མ་གཏུགས་ན་ཁྱེད་ལ་གནོད་པ་ཅི་མཆི་ཞེས་མི་འདུད་དེ། དང་པོ་ཉིད་ནས་སྟོན་པའི་གསུང་བཅག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་དགེ་འདུན་གྱིས་བསྙེན་པར་རྫོགས་ཤིང་རིང་པོར་མ་ཐོགས་པར་ཉེ་བར་འཁོར་ཡང་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཐོབ་ནས་འདུལ་བ་འཛིན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མཆོག་ཏུ་ལུང་བསྟན་ལ། བཟང་ལྡན་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་ཤས་ཆེ་བ་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་རིམ་གྱིས་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་ངོ༌།། གང་གི་ཚེ་བདུད་རྩི་ཟས་ཀྱི་ཁྱེའུ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་མཚན་མཁན་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདི་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་རིམ་གྲོ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་ལུང་བསྟན་པས། བདུད་རྩི་ཟས་ཁྱེའུ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་གཅེས་པས། སྟོན་པ་སེར་སྐྱར་བྱོན་པའི་ཚེ་ཡུལ་བཻ་ཤཱ་ལར་སྐྱེལ་བར་བྱེད། དེར་བྱོན་པའི་ཚེ་སེར་སྐྱར་སྐྱེལ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །ལན་ཅིག་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་སེར་སྐྱ་ན་ཡོད་པ་ལ་མ་ཚོར་བ་ཁོ་ནར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བདུད་རྩི་ཟས་ཀྱི་ཁང་པར་གཤེགས་ཤིང་གདན་བཤམས་པ་ལ་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེར་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཁྱིམ་དེའི་ཕུག་གི་ཁང་ཕྲན་ཞིག་ཏུ་བཅུག་སྟེ་སྒོ་བསྡམས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་མཐུས་སྒོའི་རིམ་པ་རྣམས་རང་བྱེ་ཞིང༌། ཁྱེའུས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མཐོང་བས་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་ཆེས་ཏེ་རྒྱུགས་ཤིང་འོངས་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་ཕྱག་

然，若未生出诸多恶劣种姓，我亦想出家，心中不安。圣者舍利子知晓后，说道：‘导师的教法中，种姓并非核心，修行才是核心。’等等，劝慰后，带到导师面前。导师也以‘近侍，过来’使之受具足戒。之后，五百释迦族人沐浴完毕后返回，在向年长者顶礼时，到达近侍处。善贤得知是近侍后，问道：‘我是否也应顶礼此人的脚？’世尊开示道：‘孩子，为了舍弃我慢而出家，应顶礼这位年长者，放下我慢与骄傲。’之后，善贤以头顶礼近侍的脚，大地发生六种震动。其中，‘这位年长者’指的是戒腊年长，而非年龄年长。之后，其他人也如教奉行，但提婆达多并未顶礼。世尊开示必须顶礼时，他却说：‘我不顶礼此人的脚，对您有何损害？’一开始就违背了导师的教言。之后，五百僧众受具足戒，不久，近侍也获得阿罗汉果位，被预言为持律者中的佼佼者。善贤等五百人中的大多数也逐渐证悟了真谛。当占相者预言甘露食童子阿难陀将成为世尊的侍者时，由于甘露食对童子极其珍爱，导师前往劫比罗卫时，便将童子送到吠舍离国。在那里时，又将童子送回劫比罗卫。有一次，童子在劫比罗卫，未被察觉的情况下，世尊前往甘露食的住所，在铺设好的座位上就坐。阿难陀被安置在那户人家深处的一个小房间里，并锁上了门。之后，凭借佛陀的威力，门锁自动打开，童子见到世尊，欣喜若狂，跑出来顶礼佛陀的足。

However, if many evil lineages had not arisen, I would also like to renounce, feeling uneasy in my heart. The venerable Shariputra, knowing this, said, 'In the teachings of the Teacher, lineage is not the essence, practice is the essence.' And so on, after comforting him, he led him before the Teacher. The Teacher also ordained him with 'Attendant, come here.' Then, the five hundred Shakyas, having finished bathing, returned and, when paying homage to the elders, arrived at the place of the Attendant. When Bhadra knew that it was the Attendant, he asked, 'Should I also bow to this one's feet?' The Blessed One replied, 'Son, you have renounced in order to abandon pride, so bow to this elder, let go of pride and arrogance.' Then, Bhadra bowed to the Attendant's feet with his head, and the great earth shook in six ways. Here, 'this elder' refers to seniority in precepts, not seniority in age. Then, the others also did as they were told, but Devadatta did not bow. When the Blessed One commanded him to bow, he said, 'If I do not bow to this one's feet, what harm is there to you?' From the very beginning, he broke the Teacher's word. Then, the five hundred were fully ordained by the Sangha, and before long, the Attendant also attained Arhatship and was prophesied to be the best of those who uphold the Vinaya. Bhadra and the majority of the five hundred also gradually saw the truth. When the soothsayers prophesied that the boy Amrita-food Ananda would become the attendant of the Blessed One, because Amrita-food cherished the boy greatly, when the Teacher went to Kapilavastu, he would send the boy to Vaishali. When he went there, he would send the boy back to Kapilavastu. Once, the boy was in Kapilavastu, and without being noticed, the Blessed One went to the house of Amrita-food and sat on the prepared seat. Ananda was placed in a small room at the back of the house and the door was locked. Then, by the power of the Buddha, the locks of the door opened by themselves, and the boy, seeing the Blessed One, was overjoyed and ran and bowed at the feet of the Buddha.
