།ཐུགས་བརྩེས་རྗེས་སུ་བཟུང་མཛོད་དེ། །གཤེགས་པར་དགོངས་པ་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། ཞེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་འཆར་ཀས་ཞུ་འཕྲིན་གྱི་ཡི་གེ་ཁྱེར་ཏེ་སོང་བ་ལས་ཞག་བདུན་མཉན་ ཡོད་དུ་ཕྱིན། སྟོན་པའི་སྤྱན་སྔར་སོང་སྟེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་གི་ཞུ་བའི་ཡི་གེ་ཕུལ་བ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཉིད་ཀྱི་ཕྱག་གིས་བཞེས་ཏེ་བཀླག་པར་མཛད་ནས་མཐའ་ཞིག་ཏུ་འཇོག་པར་མཛད་དོ། །འཆར་ཀས་གསོལ་བ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སེར་སྐྱར་མི་བཞུད་དམ། བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་འགྲོའོ། །དེ་སྔོན་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དང་ལྷག་པར་འདྲིས་པས་གལ་ཏེ་མི་བཞུད་ན་བདག་གི་མཐུས་བཀྲིའོ། །ཞེས་ཅི་བརྟོལ་དུ་གསོལ་བ་ལ། གང་སྲེད་པ་དང་བྲལ་ཞིང་སྤྱོད་ཡུལ་མཐའ་ཡས་མངའ་བ་དེ་སུ་ཞིག་གིས་བཀྲི་བར་ནུས། ཞེས་གསུངས། དེས་གསོལ་པ། བདག་འགྲོ་སྟེ་ཟས་གཙང་མ་ལ་རིག་པར་བགྱིའོ། །སྟོན་པས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཕོ་ཉ་ནི་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་མ་ཡིན་པས་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ཞིག །གསོལ་བ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་སླར་འོང་བར་དམ་བཅས་ན་ཇི་ལྟར་བགྱིད། སྔོན་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ལ་དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་དམ་བཅས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་གྱིས་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་འཆར་ཀ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་གཏད་དེ། རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ཞིང་བསྙེན་པར་རྫོགས་ནས་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྤྱོད་པའི་ཆོས་དག་བསྟན་ཏེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔར་སོང་བ་ན། བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། འཆར་ཀ་ཁྱོད་སོང་ལ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ་གྱ་ཚོམ་དུ་མ་འགྲོ་བར་སྒོར་སྡོད་ལ། ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སློང་འོངས་སུ་ཞེས་རྗོད་ཅིག གལ་ཏེ་ནང་དུ་བྱོན་ཟེར་ན་འཇུག་པར་བྱའོ། །དགེ་སློང་གཞན་ཡང་ཡོད་དམ་ཞེ་ན་ཡོད་དོ། ཅཻས་སྨྲོས་ཤིག །དོན་གྲུབ་ཀྱང་ཆ་བྱད་འདི་འདྲའམ་ཟེར་ན་འདྲའོ། ཁྱོད་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་མ་སྡོད་ཅིགགཞོན་ནུ་ཡང་མི་བཞུགས་སམ་ན་མི་བཞུགས་སོ། །གང་དུ་བཞུགས་ཟེར་ན་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུའོ། །དེ་ཅི་འདྲ་ཟེར་ན་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཚལ་གྱི་རྣམ་པ་བྲིས་པ་སྟོན་ཅིག འབྱོན་ནམ་ཞེ་ན་འབྱོན་ནོ། །དུས་ཇི་སྲིད་ན་འབྱོན་ཞེ་ན་ཞག་བདུན་ལོན་ནས་སོ་ཞེས་རྗོད་ཅིག །དེ་ནས་འཆར་ཀ་སེར་སྐྱར་འགྲོ་བའི་དུས། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་མཐུས་ཡུད་ཙམ་ ཞིག་ལ་སེར་སྐྱར་སླེབ་པ་ན། འཆར་ཀ་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་ལྷག་པར་དད་པ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དེས་ཀྱང་སྟོན་པས་ཇི་སྐད་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་ལྟར། ཕོ་བྲང་གི་སྒོ་དྲུང་དུ་བསྡད་ནས་ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སློང་འོངས་སོ་ཞེས་བརྡ་སྦྱོར། དགེ་སློང་གཞན་དག་ཀྱང་ཡོད་དམ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་ཡོད་དོ། །དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཟས་གཙང་ལ་སྨྲས་པས་ནང་དུ་བྱོན་ཅིག དེར་འཆར་ཀས་ནང་དུ་ཞུགས་ཏེ་སྔར་གྱི་ཚུལ་རྣམས་རྒྱས་པར་བསྙད་དོ། །

Please have compassion and take care of me, please consider going (to Kapilavastu). After saying this, Charka took the letter and left, arriving in Shravasti after seven days. He went before the Blessed One and presented King Shuddhodana's letter, which the Buddha himself took and read, then placed it aside. Charka asked: Blessed One, will you not come to Kapilavastu? The Buddha replied: I will go. Before, I was especially familiar with the Blessed One, if you do not come, I can invite you with my power. He earnestly requested. The Buddha said: Who can invite one who is free from desire and possesses boundless realms? Charka said: I am leaving to inform King Shuddhodana. The Buddha said: A Buddha's messenger is not like this, you should ordain. Charka asked: If I promise the king to return, what should I do? Ordain first, and then do as promised. Then, Charka was entrusted to the Venerable Shariputra, and after he ordained and received full ordination, Shariputra taught him all the practices, after which he went before the Blessed One. The Buddha said: Charka, go, do not rashly enter the royal palace, wait at the door and say: A Shakya monk has come. If they say come in, then enter. If they ask if there are other monks? Say yes. If they ask if Siddhartha is also like this? Say the same. Do not stay in the royal palace. If they ask if the young man (referring to Rahula) is not there either? Say no. If they ask where does he live? Say in the temple. If they ask what is the temple like? Show the painting depicting the appearance of Jetavana Monastery. If they ask if he is coming? Say yes. If they ask when is he coming? Say after seven days. Afterwards, when Charka was going to Kapilavastu, by the power of the Buddha, he arrived in Kapilavastu in an instant. Charka developed great faith in the Buddha. He also stood at the gate of the royal palace as the Buddha had said, and announced: A Shakya monk has come. Are there other monks? There are wise ones. They told King Shuddhodana, please come in. Then Charka entered the royal palace and described the previous situation in detail.

Is the young man also dressed like this? Are the gods also like this? Then, King Śuddhodana fainted and fell to the ground. After being sprinkled with sandalwood water, he revived. He asked, "When will the young man come?" He replied, "At the age of seven." After that, Śuddhodana ordered the ministers to clean the royal palace and the palace. The astrologer said, "The Blessed One does not reside in the palace, but in a secluded place or a monastery." When the king asked what a monastery was like, the astrologer drew a picture of Jetavana and showed it to him. The king also had a similar monastery built in the Nyagrodha garden. Because it is said, "The lords of the land accomplish things through words, the gods through thought, and likewise, meditators accomplish everything through aspiration." Therefore, a great palace, sixteen monasteries, sixty rooms, and facilities with walls, gatehouses, stables, and all kinds of equipment were completed within seven days. The Nyagrodha garden and the area surrounded by Brahma were also made similar to that. Not long after the astrologer returned from the presence of the Buddha, the Buddha said to Maudgalyayana's son, "Father and son will meet in Kapilavastu. All who wish to see it should wear Dharma robes." The Blessed One, accompanied by the assembly of Śrāvakas, traveled from Śrāvastī to Kapilavastu, staying for seven days on the way, and on the seventh day, he stayed by the Rohini River. Then, the next morning, King Śuddhodana had the entire road from the riverbank to the Nyagrodha garden cleaned and decorated with ornaments. In a very spacious place, cushions and a large amount of offerings were arranged. A grand welcoming ceremony was also prepared, with some having white chariots, white horses pulling the chariots, and the clothes, shoes, hats, and all the attire of the people in the chariots being white, and the banners also being white. Others were all yellow, all red, all blue, and all multicolored. In addition, there were elephants decorated with various ornaments, various kinds of musical instruments, and countless dance performances, and so on.
