It was heard. When a frog was also listening to his teachings, the cowherd Gawa, without careful observation, stuck his staff into the ground, hitting the frog's back. Although facing the risk of breaking a precept, he thought that if I made a sound, others listening to the Dharma would be disturbed, so he endured and remained silent. That frog immediately died and was reborn as a deity of the Four Great Kings' lineage. By listening to the Dharma in the presence of the Teacher, he realized the truth. Now the cowherd Gawa pleaded: "Venerable, I will not decay from this shore to that shore, please ordain me." The Buddha instructed: "Have the cows been handed over to their owners? If not, they will return to their respective places on their own." Even so, they must be handed over. After that, the cowherd Gawa obtained great power of the Dharma and left, uttering a loud sound of "Fear! Fear!" He encountered five hundred cowherds who recognized him and asked what he was afraid of. He said he was afraid of birth, old age, sickness, and death, and those cowherds retreated. Similarly, many piles of grass, many piles of wood, and those who came on the road also heard it and retreated as before. After that, he went to a mountain, and hearing the sound of "Fear!", some were frightened and ran away, and some put on armor. There, he met a hero who asked him what he was afraid of, and he said as before, and the hero was relieved. After that, Gawa handed over the cows to their respective owners. Leading five hundred cowherd friends, he came before the Teacher and requested ordination. By listening to the Dharma, those five hundred immediately attained the state of Arhat. Here, in the sacred land of India, there are no yaks, and those greatest ones here translate it as cowherd and cow, but it would be better to translate it as shepherd and livestock. After that, the Bhagavan, together with his retinue, went to the Ganges River in the southern region of Five Takes and crossed the Ganges. The Bhagavan sometimes traveled by boat and sometimes walked on the Ganges. There, five hundred swans, five hundred fish, and five hundred turtles circumambulated the Bhagavan with devotion and listened to a four-line verse of the Dharma. After that, when they reached this shore of the Ganges, those animals died and were reborn as deities of the Four Great Kings' lineage, and by listening to the Dharma of the Teacher, they realized the truth. There, a hungry ghost's stomach was like a burnt tree stump.

As big as a mountain cave, with mouths like needle eyes. Five hundred burning flames came and surrounded the body, praying: Due to our bad karma, we cannot even find water, let alone saliva. Please, Bhagavan, grant us water! There, the Bhagavan showed them the Ganges River, but it seemed very dry to us, and now there are those who hold sticks and battle-axes guarding it. The Bhagavan commanded the god of the Ganges: Do not guard it! The god replied: I have not guarded it, but their own karma guards it. Through the miraculous power of the Teacher, the mouths of those pretas were opened, and Maudgalyayana's son poured water into them, and they obtained a state of satisfaction and their bellies swelled. They died with faith in the Teacher and were born as gods of the Four Great Kings' lineage, and upon hearing the Dharma from the Bhagavan, they saw the truth. The intermediate summary is: In brief, the happy frog, the boat and the swan, the fish bone frog, five hundred pretas were satisfied. The one hundred and fifth story is about the poor Brahmin seeing the truth, etc. Then, the Bhagavan passed through the area called Youthful Growth, as well as Arm Ornament Possessor, Jewel Possessor, the Sala Strength area, the Strength of Sala, Golden Bushel, and various places, and arrived at the edge of the Shravasti area. A poor Brahmin, without having eaten breakfast, was plowing in a rice field. When his daughter came to deliver porridge, it happened that the Bhagavan came in that direction, and the Brahmin developed faith, left the unfinished plowing, and offered the porridge to the Buddha. The Teacher showed an old well and said, "Pour the porridge into it." As he said, when it was poured in, the well was filled with porridge, steaming with vapor. Then the Brahmin first offered it to the Bhagavan, and then distributed the porridge to all the Sangha, but it did not decrease. When the well was even more full, the Brahmin had great faith, and the Teacher taught him the Dharma, and he also saw the truth. After that, all the fields of that Brahmin grew golden sprouts, golden ears of rice, and golden rice. Then he went to King Prasenajit and said: "Golden rice has grown in my fields, please send someone to collect it, and I offer one-sixth." Then the king sent people to separately
