From the special seats of the sacred places, I invite the Protector and all his retinue. Vajra Sama Ja! Protector, please rise from your seat. Now is the time of the five degenerations. Especially, for the teachings and those who uphold the teachings, and for us yogis and our retinue, all enemies, obstructors, and evil gatherings that harm and injure, and obstruct the path of practice, please subdue all their evil thoughts and harsh actions with peaceful means. If you cannot subdue them peacefully, then please inflict appropriate punishment, expel, torment, separate, threaten, and intimidate. In short, please pacify all obstacles to Dharma practice, and may all thoughts and actions be in accordance with the Dharma, and may all wishes be fulfilled, and may the teachings, the upholders of the teachings, and all beings in the world flourish and increase.
