In the middle of the night, she wanted to go to the merchant's house, and after leaving her own house, she grabbed a branch of a Shirisha tree on the road. At this time, the poisonous snake wrapped around the tree wrapped around her body. Just remembering the Holy Mother Tara, that poisonous snake turned into a garland of flowers and stayed on her body for seven days. After that, it is said that the snake turned white, was free of poison, and entered the water. Saved from the fear of robbers: In a place called Bharukaccha in Gujarat, there was a very wealthy merchant. He loaded goods on about a thousand camels and five hundred oxen and went to the Maru region. On the way, they arrived at a nomadic monastery inhabited by about a thousand robbers. All the merchants who had arrived earlier had been killed, and blood, flesh, and bones were scattered everywhere. Hundreds of thousands of merchants were impaled on wooden stakes. Those robbers were like Rakshasas, even eating human flesh. That merchant was very scared, and because there was no other protector, he prayed to Tara. Then, Tara manifested countless armies of warriors holding weapons. They drove the robbers far away, and there was no death or killing. In this way, after the robbers scattered, that merchant safely arrived in Bharukaccha again. Saved from prison: A thief leader dug through the wall of the king's treasury and entered it. He found a bottle of wine, drank it, and immediately got drunk and fell asleep. The king's men discovered and caught him, put him in a dungeon, bound him with ropes, and suffered all kinds of pain.

Therefore, that thief, along with his five hundred retinue, abandoned the profession of thievery and performed many virtuous deeds. Saving from the fear of ocean waves: About five thousand merchants who went to do business in the south rented three large ships and boarded the great vessel. They went to the island of jewels, and one ship was filled with jewels. When they sailed again, they encountered an island of excellent sandalwood, and the second ship was filled with excellent sandalwood. Afterward, they wanted to return home, but the lords of wealth in the sea became angry and sent a great wind, carrying them far away. After crossing many oceans of different colors, they finally arrived at a place of violent waves. Before that, the merchants had prayed day and night to Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, the Moon, the Sun, Kubera, and so on, but it was of no use. There, the ship's ropes broke, and the ships of jewels and sandalwood were lost, and the great ship was about to sink. At that time, there was a Buddhist layperson who remembered Tara and recited the ten-syllable mantra (藏文：ཡི་གེ་བཅུ་པའི་སྔགས།，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：，汉语字面意思：ten-syllable mantra) in a loud voice. Immediately, a favorable wind arose, and the ship returned, reaching Jambudvipa in one night. The ships of jewels and sandalwood were also blown back by the wind and gathered together. Saving from the fear of flesh-eating demons: In a monastery in the east, there was only one Shravaka monk living. There, once at night, whenever a monk went to walk on the ground outside the monastery, he would die, and thus the monastic community of that monastery gradually decreased. One night, a novice monk went for a walk, and a hideous, black, repulsive flesh-eating demon with gnashing teeth appeared and seized his head. The Mahayana practitioners say that Tara is one who saves from the eight fears.
