Wood. After that, one night the flowers burst into flames. Just by praying to it, one obtains common accomplishments and can walk underground without hindrance. It is said that Dhupirajani was an accomplished person from the caste of bathers. The history of Haribhanjava is not mentioned. Lokapradvapaṇi was a royal paṇḍita who had Kanakaśrī as his root guru. He was well-versed in the Dharma of secret mantra, especially the Dharma cycles related to the emergence of Tara. He established a residence in an empty garden in the country of Gujarat. For about six years, he had a mantra-holding woman as a practice partner, and he meditated only on the generation and completion stages of Tara. He received a prophecy from a ḍākiṇī, and relying on twelve vidyādharīs, he practiced the asceticism of vidyā for six months and attained the desired accomplishment. While residing there, once the king of that place, Garlog, came to inspect his kingdom. He saw that the teacher's residence was very pleasant and asked, "Who lives here?" The king's servants said, "A Buddhist renunciate lives here." Then the king began to seize that place, and in an instant, its interior and exterior were all ablaze. The king and his entourage were almost burned. There, knowing that the teacher had attained accomplishment, they prayed and the fire subsided. Then the teacher said, "King, it is good if you worship Buddhists. If you do not, I will destroy you right now." He vowed to worship Buddhists along with his lineage. From then until now, the king of this place, although of the Garlog lineage, mainly worships Buddhism. Before that, there were few Buddhists in that place, and that king himself built eight temples. From then on, gradually until now, the teachings of Buddhism have been flourishing. There, when the king became faithful to Buddhism, the heretical teachers, the Kazis, set fire to the teacher's residence. The teacher also made a gesture towards them, and they all became stiff and unconscious. They did not recover for three days, and then their relatives prayed,

Restored again with the sound of releasing children. Fearing the king's punishment, they fled to the far west of their own country. The teacher destroyed all the settlements of the Klakas, Masita, simply by scattering mustard seeds. In those ruins, stupas of the Buddha were also built. One hundred and eight Tara temples were built. The king, Padma Gardwang, was empowered in the mandala of empowerment. A secret mantra temple was also built. Previously, under that king's rule, there were many Brahmins and heretics, and due to the actions of the main leaders of the king's sacrificial place, Garlog Kadzi, etc., there were about a thousand people who adhered to the Klaka sect. There were only about twenty Buddhist monks, but during the lifetime of that teacher, all the Klakas disappeared, and because the king invited many Buddhist teachers, the monks themselves increased by about two thousand. Once, there was a great famine in that place, and the teacher dug up a huge treasure of grain from underground. He gave everyone in that place one hundred kal of grain each. Taking from the nagas and yakshas, he gave each of the poor a pearl necklace. He gave food worth one tola every day for three years. Finally, on an island near Droling, there was the body of a dead boy with (auspicious) signs, so he performed transference of consciousness into it. He blessed the previous body so that it would not decay and placed it in a stupa with a door. In Droling, there also appeared someone who practiced with elaborations. Eight female disciples turned into bodies without aging or death. They made offerings to the previous body, and after sixty years, she entered the previous body again. There, she also worked for the benefit of a few fortunate beings for about ten years. After that, she transferred between bodies every three years, about six times. The two bodies, together with the retinue of vidyadharis, disappeared. This teacher, Tara Shri Mitra and Chos 'byung Zhi ba, both heard this tantra. Chos 'byung Zhi ba is, called the omniscient one of the time of strife, although Nyima Pal said so, but he did not mention the history. Sangha Shri

He said that it could be proofread. The accomplished master Loka Pradha composed the method of practice, the condensed meaning of the tantra, the completion stage, the initiation ritual, and the fire offering. The commentary of Mi'i Nyima also follows this. Later, the hearing and explanation of this tantra became very rare, but the great accomplished one Shanti Bhadra widely propagated it. I also, the unerring oral instructions of Shanti Bhadra, which became the sole teachings of the guru's oral transmission, as well as the two commentaries and the eight minor treatises, were well received. Therefore, in this snowy region, only I have previously obtained a share of merit. The origin of the Tara-emanating tantras, which are the ultimate essence of the profound Mother Tantra King, was written as instructed by my guru by Gyalkhampa, known as Taranatha. This was spoken at the age of thirty in the Golden Dharma Garden. May virtue and goodness increase! Auspiciousness! Proofread! May I, with heartfelt devotion to the inseparable Jetsun Tara and Guru, be reborn in Mataga Shambhala in successive lives, follow the Guru, choose and uphold the paths and stages, and attain perfect Buddhahood! A Golden Garland of Historical Accounts Clarifying the Origin of the Tara Tantra.
