The actual transference of consciousness, entering a city, knowing the minds of others, and having power over them—among these four, the first is from the Third Chapter of 'Benefiting Matters': 'The characteristic of applying to transference is...' etc., similar to the preliminary practices. The method of blocking the doors is also as previously explained: a person who has already meditated on it should diligently practice the vase breathing again. That is, one should generate oneself as the Wisdom Empowerment Mother from the Three Vajra Rituals, with a white body, three faces of white, blue, and red, and six arms, seated in the bodhisattva posture. In her three right hands, she holds an arrow, an iron hook, and a vajra; in her three left hands, she holds a bow, a lasso, and a threatening gesture. She has an expression of smiling, wrathful, and seductive, and is adorned with all ornaments. Her hands are in the meditation mudra, her eyes are gazing at the tip of her nose, and her body posture is similar to the general instructions. After exhaling and inhaling about ten times, one should then inhale air through the mouth and swallow it, holding it in the 'Thub Thang' (《ཛཾ》,Jam + ཚད་,Tshad), which is called the method of pacification. Again, inhale a small amount through the nose, draw up the lower air, and stir it at the point of union. When exhaling, cut it into segments and exhale slowly, dividing each exhalation into twenty-four segments. Once one is accustomed to this and can maintain the vase breathing to the maximum extent without effort or pain, it can be applied to the subsequent transference of consciousness. This is one session of practice. Then, again, visualize clearly as before. Write the letters that block the thirteen doors. On the soles of both feet, both kidney openings, and both armpits, write a blue YUM(藏文:ཡུཾ,梵文天城体:युं,罗马转写:yuṃ,字面意思:种子字) letter, each radiating rays of wind. In the center of the eight-petaled lotus of the heart, write a blue HUM(藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,罗马转写:huṃ,字面意思:种子字) letter, surrounded by four YUM letters. The HUM letter is slightly higher, and the four YUM letters are slightly lower, with their heads facing inward. In the center of the body, visualize twenty-one layers of lotuses stacked from the navel up to the crown of the head. It is good to meditate on the central channel in the empty space in the center of the lotuses. Even if you don't meditate on it, all of them have holes. At the Brahma aperture on the crown of the head, write the KSHUM(藏文:ཀྵུཾ,梵文天城体:क्षुं,罗马转写:kṣuṃ,字面意思:种子字) letter with its head pointing downwards. Below the twenty-one lotuses, on top of the navel lotus, visualize your own mind as a white A(藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,罗马转写:a,字面意思:种子字) letter. The KSHUM letter and the A letter are connected by a white light rope, which extends upwards inside the central channel or in the empty space of the lotuses. All of those lotuses have their petals facing outwards.

It is a form of inversion. Regarding the "eight-petaled heart lotus," some believe that it should be meditated on the left side of the heart, while others believe that the lotus has twenty-one layers, and meditate on the eleventh layer. At that time, the five syllables do not touch the light threads, but are meditated in the central channel or in the empty space of the lotus. Some even believe that the light threads should be used to meditate on the back. Of these two methods, the latter is considered better. By holding the vase breath tightly, visualize the six syllables "ཡུཾ་" causing the wind to move, and the lotuses to sway. Then, as the wind flows outward, it is necessary to strongly recite "ཧིཀ་" twenty-one times. With each recitation of "ཧིཀ་," the syllable "ཨ་" is pulled upwards by the light thread. When it reaches above each lotus, there is the force of the wind from the six syllables "ཡུཾ་" on the outside, and the syllable "ཨ་" propelling from the inside. The petals of the lotus, which were previously turned outwards and downwards, now turn inwards, causing the tips of the petals to stand upright. When it reaches the heart lotus, the syllable "ཨ་" uses light to pull the syllable "ཧཱུཾ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) from below, and the four syllables "ཡུཾ་" push the syllable "ཧཱུཾ" from behind. The light thread also pulls and draws, visualizing it moving as before. Finally, it reaches above the lotus on the crown of the head, reaching below the syllable "ཀྵུཾ" (Tibetan: ཀྵུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: क्षुं, Sanskrit Romanization: kṣuṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Sha). Again, slowly inhale, and at the same time, recite "ཀ་ཧི་" twenty-one times, causing it to fall directly below each lotus. At the heart's location, the five syllables are arranged as before, and the syllable "ཨ་" gradually descends to the navel. Visualize the petals of the lotus also gradually turning outwards. By repeatedly practicing this, signs of transference will appear, similar to the usual case. When applied to practical application, remove the syllable "ཀྵུཾ" from the crown of the head, and transfer from an open pore to any place desired. Other than transferring upwards, there is no need to move downwards. Generally, offer extensive offerings and tormas, give generously, and have no attachment to anything. By offering the nectar of inner offering, please the deities, and it is said that it can be used for the practice of transference. Some believe that transference is performed in the lion's sleeping posture with the right side down, but this is not certain. Furthermore, it is necessary to block the nine doors: if transference occurs from the anus, one will fall into hell; if from the urethra, one will be reborn as an animal; if from the mouth, one will be reborn as a hungry ghost; if from the eyes, one will be reborn as a human; if from the ears
