This yoga is named the Lion's Play Mudra because it has the power to overcome the wind. This clearly shows that by practicing the Lion's Play physical exercise, the wind and channels are spread throughout the body. The second part, from "Restraining life and effort" to "Perfectly endowed with two yogas." This section is divided into three aspects: the explanation of the general meaning, the explanation of the hidden meaning, and the explanation of the ultimate meaning. First, according to the instructions of the previous lamas, the wind that flows outward is considered life, and the wind that flows inward is considered effort. The Black Ones consider life and effort to be the wind. Therefore, the activity of life-effort is named as the yoga of wind itself. Life-wind, effort, and cessation are explained in the Mind Commentary and others. However it is combined, it only conforms to the main meaning. Here, the negation is shown by the practice of vase-breath. For that, the instructions of the previous lamas are: when the wind flows outward, think about how it benefits and harms beings; when it flows inward, think about how it benefits oneself. Remembering the characteristics of the wind, and thinking that the touch of breathing is pleasant, this is meditating on the wind as a pleasant object. Force and meditating on the vase-breath practice, this is the practice of stopping the wind. The three types of vase-breath, superior, middling, and inferior, are the degrees of cessation. Afterwards, not disturbing the subsequent wind, this is called following the wind. These are the five instructions of the wind. Therefore, by the practice of vase-breath, restraining life and effort, if one can practice well the yoga of deity, letters, and emptiness, then in that instant, wisdom will quickly blaze. Since great wisdom abides in one's own body, and is the nature of mind, it reaches the ultimate state of Akanishta. Assuming that the formless realm has no other abode, then traveling through all the places from hell to Akanishta is for the benefit of beings, therefore it is the six classes of beings and the intermediate state of existence that does not travel, etc., all these seven realms of sentient beings, at all times, are meditating and thinking about suchness wisdom itself, but do not understand its true nature. This is because it is contrary to the true nature.

It is because of thinking with an inverted mind. Just as the great Brahmin said, 'They speak of it in house and out of house, but they do not fully know the state of great bliss.' If the meaning of reality is thoroughly understood in all the situations of beings, then the play of beings, revolving in samsara through the gateway of the twelve links of dependent origination, will be completely destroyed, and nirvana will be attained. Such wisdom, and the methods for generating it, not to mention ordinary beings, even the Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and noble Bodhisattvas who abide only on the path of the Perfections cannot know, and if they do not have the fortune to enter the (profound) path, it must be kept secret from them, therefore it is secret. Such methods, even in the tantras, are taught obscurely because without the oral instructions of the guru, there are no clear words to understand. Then who will know? Because only the Buddhas can know it, but because the oral instructions have been transmitted from one guru to another without interruption, if one possesses the oral instructions of a qualified Vajra Master, then some ordinary beings can also know the methods. Furthermore, in the commentary of Krishnacharya, from 'Therefore,' etc., it is explained as the nature of wisdom itself, as it is said in the commentary: 'Wisdom means non-discrimination, but it is different from matter. Obscure means that it cannot be expressed by all signs and discriminations. Without letters means that the bindu is separated from sound. The Buddhas know means that only the Bhagavan knows.' The meaning is that the non-discriminating mind, and the obscure signs of elaboration, and the unspeakable, therefore reality is only known by the Buddha. 'Yoga is perfectly in accordance with sleep' means that just as coarse discriminations gradually cease when falling asleep, so too when wisdom arises, it ceases in the same way, in the realm of yoga of non-dual means and wisdom, all minds and mental factors faint, and the difference similar to sleep is perfectly in accordance. The second is, placing the life force and the effort-making wind in the central channel.
