However, through habit, one will grasp the clear light of sleep. Also, during the day, meditate on the previous object of focus, and when focusing on the A-shad (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Seed Syllable A), after meditating on non-conceptuality in the present moment, generate the intention to meditate on a deity's form as an illusion, without interruption from other things. Afterward, also train in not focusing on the A-shad (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Seed Syllable A), and leave the mind wherever it rests. Interrupt that, and quickly meditate on oneself as the Yidam deity, and repeatedly look at one's own face, which is like an illusion of appearance and emptiness. Repeatedly meditate on this object of focus; these are two rounds of meditation. Furthermore, on top of that, tonight, during deep sleep, meditate on non-conceptuality. Add the intention to meditate on the deity's form as appearance and emptiness in the dream, and meditate. These are three rounds of meditation. Meditate similarly during the day. When going to bed, while focusing on the A-shad (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Seed Syllable A), generate the intention that now one must grasp the clear light of deep sleep, and that a deity's form will appear in the dream, and go to sleep in a clear state. If this is done many times, deep sleep and dreams will definitely come. These are four rounds of meditation, which is mixing virtuous practice with sleep. When those objects of focus are mastered, during the day, on top of the previous object of focus, add the intention: "When the time of death comes, I will meditate in this way. I will recognize the nature of all outer and inner appearances as emptiness. The clear light of death is also the same as the non-conceptuality at the time when the A-shad (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Seed Syllable A) disappears now. The nature of the mind is free from elaboration, bliss and emptiness; I must abide in that by recognizing its own nature." And, rising from that, generate the intention that until the time when the deity's form appears, I will also meditate in this way in the Bardo. This is one round of meditation. Also, when going to bed, shift that intention: "When the time of death comes, I will meditate on this very instruction of entering the clear light of sleep now"; these are two rounds of meditation. On top of that, in the Bardo state, also train in the intention to meditate on this very deity's form as appearance and emptiness, just like the current dream. These are three rounds of meditation. By that, even during deep sleep, a slight memory mixed with death will arise, and when the deity's form appears in the dream, a clear intention mixed with the Bardo will arise. Those are all virtuous practices of death.

and mixtures. Now, if you can cultivate the virtuous conduct of waking and sleeping while you are alive, then there is no doubt that you will be able to recognize the clear light at the time of death. These instructions for recognizing the Dharmakaya, although the goal itself is mainly the goal of clear light, are closely related to the instructions of the Bardo, so the previous Lamas taught them at the time of the illusory body of the Bardo. However, in the small texts of the instructions of Ngok Shedang Dorje, there are three kinds of small texts of the illusory body with different lengths. There is no difference in meaning, but from these instructions, it is not clear that these arise from the clear light to the deity body. There are instructions of one's own tradition and instructions of faith tradition, which are necessary. Otherwise, in general, it cannot be regarded as the instruction of the illusory body. Moreover, there will be no reason to be the instruction of the Bardo. It is not clear in those small texts because the words are short and hidden, but not because they do not agree with what is explained in the Tantras. Secondly, relying on the illusory body to recognize the Yuganaddha body is similar to the usual preliminaries. The goal is to first merge the previous five letters into the clear light, it is good to do these first. Even if you don't do it, it doesn't matter, stay in non-conceptualization for a while. Then, apply a decomposition to all appearances of oneself and others, inside and outside. Thinking that all of this is the appearance of the Bardo, do not be confused, transform all the vessels and beings of oneself and others into the mandala of the selfless mother of Hevajra. Cultivate the intention of thinking it is like an illusion. Visualize all sounds as the sound of mantras. Also visualize it as an illusion. If there is an experience of great light from Tummo, etc., and there is a door to the arising of bliss and emptiness, use it to expand. If not, first proceed with the intention of Bardo and illusion. By placing great hope on this clear and empty awareness, one will find a kind of bliss. Generate faith in Hevajra's heart. Meditating like this repeatedly is one session of meditation. In all breaks between sessions, one should also generate the intention of Bardo. In another case, even if it is not Bardo now, but someday the appearance of the Bardo will appear, so one should constantly think that one should practice like this at that time. The goal is to meditate as before. During the breaks between sessions, one should also think that the Bardo is also the same as this.
