The earth is also the crown chakra and the jewel. When descending, through the power of the heart center, it causes the navel chakra to be released, and thereby also releases the throat and the secret place. Thus, from this method, the samadhis of the mind arise, and when such blazing and dripping occur in the pure body, the mind manifestly abides in the innate bliss of its own nature. From the power of blazing, the two, formlessness and infinity, arise. From the power of dripping, the characteristics of clarity and non-appearance arise. The tantra says: Those are not a single sacred object. And so on. Camphor itself is the selfless mother, bliss is the nature of selflessness, that bliss is the Great Seal. From that, the nature of the Dharmadhatu is revealed. The third is: Having arisen from that, one should believe that all things arise from great bliss, as the nature of the mandala of the Yogini. This is said to be practiced in the intervals between sessions, but it is not so. What is it then? It is that the Great Seal shown above has become familiar, and from that samadhi of equipoise, a time arises spontaneously when all appearances are clearly bliss and emptiness, and the wheel of the mandala appears spontaneously. From that point, one should meditate diligently, meditating on the Great Seal at the beginning of each session. Having arisen from that, that is, immediately upon arising, one should meditate by believing in the unexamined form of the deity, the nature of the mandala of the wheel of the Yogini or Heruka. Here, the meaning of belief is not the belief of manifest clinging, but the name of something that, although not real, can act as if it were real. First, it appears in this way in the place of the five aggregates of one's own continuum, and then the scope becomes larger and larger, until finally all things arise from great bliss and become that mandala of the nature of bliss. Here, what is called the samaya mudra is the same in meaning and different in name from the wisdom body, which is distinguished by the body of mantra and the body of wisdom. That is also as the tantra says: The wisdom born from the Dharmadhatu is equal to space, together with skillful means. And so on. And in the lotus bliss of the consort, the thirty-two marks of the teacher appear. And so on, is the meaning shown. Some ancient people, Jowo (referring to Atisha).
