Of speech, of body, of union, of the seven limbs of bliss, the first is: Because it is dependent arising, it is the nature of emptiness of inherent existence, born of the nature of mere awareness, self-awareness is separate from the knower and the known, because it possesses the qualities of nature and is inseparable, therefore, in terms of essence, there is no increase or decrease in qualities, as it is said: The water element, gold, and the sky, are considered pure as if they were pure. Thus, the nature is permanently free from defilements, so there is no decrease in what is to be abandoned, which means there is no increase or decrease, it is not an object of conceptual thought that clings to characteristics, it abides in the nature that does not discriminate by characteristics, and from that non-discrimination, it appears as the image of all things. Profound wisdom possesses these five limbs or characteristics. The second is: the cause is vast merit, vast wisdom, the realm of wisdom, that is, its appearance is vast, because it focuses on all the Buddha's teachings, therefore the object is vast, because it enters through the aspects of all phenomena, therefore the entry is vast, because it acts in every way for the benefit of all sentient beings, therefore the action is vast, it is the nature of vastness or the five limbs. The third is: that wisdom has no near or far in all realms, no near or far in all times, the essence of the three bases, paths, and fruits is without difference, therefore it is pervasive, emptiness, that is, suchness is without difference, therefore it is pervasive, because it sees all phenomena as equality without discrimination, therefore it is pervasive, these are the five pervasive limbs. The fourth is: the union of body and wisdom, that has no possibility of interruption, therefore it is continuous, there is no cessation like entering into the state of no remainder, the body has no particle-like phenomena, as it is said: How it was before, so it is afterwards, it is the nature of unchanging dharma. Thus, the nature has no change at all times, the great Bodhisattvas also transcend the realm of thought, therefore it is inconceivable wisdom, these five are the limbs of permanence. The fifth is: it seems to transform into a profound meaning, but until the wisdom of the Buddha is manifested, the temporary wisdoms self-

Because it is changing and not the object of those, it is connected to the unchanging branch. Constant is the meaning of unchanging, it is said not to be constant like the sky. The fifth is, the body is the aspect of the union of skillful means and wisdom, father and mother, the mind is the nature of unchanging abiding in bliss, the aspect is the nature of great compassion abiding inseparably in three, it is the opposite of great bliss, it is the absorption of the near attainment of discriminating thoughts, and the wind of its mount also dissolves and ceases, it manifests from obtaining bliss through the cause of melting, the mind of enlightenment abides in the nature of non-leaking bliss from its own place, these are the seven branches of bliss. It is said that great compassion is bliss, it is the near cessation of the suffering of oneself and others, when each unchanging moment arises, for sentient beings with change, it draws out the vastness of the aspect of compassion without object, the mind is the body of mere appearance of mind, the body of mere essence of wind, and in the moment of the same time, it is not contradictory to show all that is known gathered in place and time, possessing marks and signs and emanating clouds similar to oneself, thus these seven are said to be branches of the vajra body. Here, the body of wind and mind is combined into one, hence it is seven, the so-called wind should not be understood as a characteristic of a tangible object. The seventh is, because all dualistic appearances are completely reversed, it is non-dual, the movement of mind and mental factors is cut off, because non-true thoughts cease, it is non-conceptual, entering into the nature of things as they are, because there is no dualistic appearance, it appears as purely vast purity, in all places and times, it appears to accomplish all kinds of benefits, because it never wavers from that state. The wisdom of Vajrasattva is union. Thus, the six branches of union. The so-called non-appearance means that all that appears is seen as without self-nature, and it is also said that universal appearance is the pure mandala of self-appearance. Thus, these forty branches come forth extensively from the Vajrakila Tantra, it is a collection of the meaning of pith instructions, it is said to be about sixty verses of the testimony of that very tantra.
