At the sea-born one of perfect secret, one-sixteenth of the share is of jewel, located at the tip of the lotus vajra. It changes in the time of transformation above. When the black first day arrives, in the desireless empty sky, the sun goes to the treasury position. One-sixteenth of its share reaches the crown lotus. It is called the waning moon, because it is liberated from the pleasure of desire. This is consistent with what is said. In this treatise, "time fire enters" is combined with the eclipse, although it is not directly combined with the dark half of the month, it is implied that the method of combining with the sixteenth day of the dark side should also be understood. The second is: This is difficult to grasp from the earth holder, and cannot surpass equality and inequality. The black one says it is difficult to depict and difficult to measure. That is, Śud·dha-keśa translated this as: This is a mountain that is difficult to grasp, holding equality and inequality. Kāhṇa said it is difficult to depict and difficult to speak, with what mind to meditate? From both the word and meaning aspects, this translation seems good. The earth holder is the mountain, the staff of the spine. Because it exists together with the life force and Avadhūti. In short, the lower end of Avadhūti, up to the secret wheel, is indicated by the symbol of the earth-holding mountain. Equality and inequality, in terms of association, are explained as the wind of the seasonal combination of sheep and cattle, etc., which is not contradictory. But here, it is identified as the lower end of the left and right channels where urine and feces flow, the two channels called sheep and yellow, together with the wind. As translated as "holding equality and inequality," the two lower channels of urine and feces are contracted, blocking the flow of wind, so the wind in the central channel returns upward, thereby holding the bindu, which is a good explanation. According to the usual translation, this bindu, starting from the lower end of the earth holder, below the secret place, is difficult for those who do not have yoga to grasp, and even the lower ends of the equal and unequal left and right channels cannot surpass the blocking of the central channel, and efforts cannot be made. The last sentence, the meaning of both translations is the same, if one obtains the experience of bliss and immutability, one can understand it by describing its state, but if one does not obtain it, it is difficult to describe it by other methods, such as metaphors, from the essence.

Because it is not understood and is unfathomable, the Black Practitioner I say so. In some old commentaries, equality is the Dharmadhatu, inequality is the mundane, and it is also explained as the meaning of transcending cognition. Second, regarding the yoga of accomplishing emptiness-form and its supplements, it is divided into two parts: the main text and the supplementary meaning. The first part includes the characteristics of individual collections and the characteristics of meditation. The first part is: Who can fully understand with the mind? What grows together daily? This is to say that according to Vairochana's translation and the new translation, the appearance of "mind's jewel" means jewel, which is the emptiness-form that completely follows all aspects. Therefore, who can focus on emptiness with one mind and fully observe in one day? Like this, which practitioner can look at the cloudless and darkless sky and meditate with the mind in the manner of emptiness, when the mind appears unobstructed like the sky and is realized, for that yogi, the signs of the co-emergent light of emptiness-form will grow and expand more and more each day. As the first Buddha said: smoke, hoofprints, mirages, lamp flames, sun and moon, dark parts and large drops, various images of light. Appearing like this is because the function of the wind-mind is bound in the crown chakra. In the commentary, this sentence is connected to recollection, seemingly because of the word "co-emergent growth," and because it appears after explaining the retention of the upper life force, but the reason is not certain. The commentary itself also immediately quotes scriptures such as "the crown is large at the time of closeness," and "all thoughts are abandoned," because it is necessary to connect the text of "the mind is a jewel" etc. with contemplation, so the words before and after will become inconsistent. Therefore, the meaning of the scripture will not go beyond what has been said above. Second, the characteristic of meditation is: the mind is a jewel, truly knowing it, and only by this can one know the essence of the Dharma. Even if it is spoken, can others understand it? This is to say that this is divided into two parts, the first part is the essence of the stages of meditation: mind, etc., that is to say, one must also constantly meditate on that image. Like this, one must first know
