Hearing, reading, receiving, explaining, reciting, contemplating, and meditating—the nature of these ten practices is an immeasurable accumulation of merit. These ten practices, as described, are practiced in all vehicles, but the Shravakas only seek their own liberation, and even hearing a single verse can accomplish that, so it is not indispensable. The practices of hearing, receiving, reciting, and so on, which must be diligently practiced, are unique to the Mahayana. The main subject of study for Bodhisattvas is the ten Paramitas, which are divided into two types: common and uncommon. The first six have already been discussed. The Paramita of skillful means is the dedication of all accumulated virtues to be shared with all sentient beings, along with rejoicing, special faith, and the excellent intention of exchanging self and others, which is the skillful means supported by the Prajnaparamita. Even a small virtue has inexhaustible results. These can be understood from the extensive Sutras such as the "Great Secret Skillful Means Sutra." The Paramita of aspiration is to never be separated from the mind of enlightenment wherever one is born, and to practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva, which is directed towards oneself. To aspire that all connected sentient beings attain the happiness of higher realms and definite goodness is directed towards others. This is a wish that can be fulfilled. And to aspire that all the suffering of sentient beings ripens upon oneself, and to aspire that Samsara becomes empty, etc., are impossible to fulfill, so they are called wishes that are not in the right place. Therefore, one should practice countless great aspirations, such as hundreds of thousands, and engage in the ocean of aspirations. The Paramita of strength is twofold: the strength of inherent nature and the strength of cultivation. The wisdom that accompanies Samadhi sees all Dharmas as without self, thereby suppressing what is to be abandoned, which is the strength of inherent nature. Because of the great force of habituation, one can accomplish virtuous deeds without effort, which is the strength of cultivation. Because it is not shaken by opposing forces and can also destroy them, it is called strength. The Paramita of wisdom is the wisdom that knows suchness and the nature of all things, which is direct perception.

Wisdom and Dharani, etc., are also gathered here. Secondly, the common characteristics of the Paramitas are combined in accordance with the scriptures. However, in order to quickly achieve Bodhi in this unsurpassed vehicle, even small external actions must perfect those Paramitas. Therefore, this unique non-common feature is that completely abandoning all internal and external things, abandoning all conceptual thoughts and mental illusions is generosity; preventing the leakage of Bindu when associating with women is discipline; having no attachment to all the pleasures and pains of good and bad realms is patience; single-mindedly striving to bind the Prana in the central channel, etc., is diligence. Furthermore, since the objects of desire and afflictions are also used as the path, there is not a moment when one does not strive on the path, so it is also called diligence. Single-mindedly abiding in bliss-emptiness and the deity's body is meditation. Teaching the Dharma with all forms of language, and understanding the benefit of sentient beings with various activities and accomplishments is wisdom. The act of forcibly restraining the Bindu in the Lotus of the Mudra consort causes wisdom to immediately increase a hundred thousand times, and merely offering the completion of these accumulations is extremely supreme. Therefore, with the skillful Paramita and the power of bliss, the wisdom of emptiness also becomes extremely powerful. Therefore, having the power to completely eliminate all that should be abandoned belonging to the three realms is the Paramita of power. Wishing to quickly attain the four types of Bodhi is the Paramita of aspiration for the sake of perfecting the benefit of others. From the jewel to the crown chakra, the Bindu is reversed and stabilized, therefore, destroying all changeable obscurations is the Paramita of wisdom. Then, besides these, are others not practiced? If they do not harm the yoga of the two stages and become a companion, then all of those are practiced. Until dual union is attained, giving away the body, etc., is not practiced. Especially in the initial stage, before the mind of compassion is purified, do not abandon this body. As stated in the Sutra tradition, generosity is not taught. After obtaining the power of yoga, one attains the wisdom body in this very life, all the thoughts of limitless sentient beings in the ten directions.
