We are all empty in nature, and those who do not understand this will be confused, but emptiness is also the nature of great bliss. Knowing this, we increase them with bliss and emptiness. Here, the previous masters who were proficient in the Wheel of Great Bliss said that there are sixteen ways to increase bliss, namely the four joys of the generation stage, the four joys of the completion stage, the four joys of the path, and the four joys of the result. They said that all sixteen joys are difficult to achieve. These are some tricks that depend on oral transmission. Some scholars who like speculation find it hard to believe these, but they seem very important and special. Among them, the first set of four joys is the joy of contemplating the union of the male and female deities, the supreme joy of union with the real or wisdom mudra, thereby transforming subtle distractions into the cessation of joy, and the coemergent joy arising from the increase of emptiness. The second set of four joys, such as relying on the four wheels, etc., are widely known, the joy with the characteristics of external happiness, the supreme joy with internal happiness, the joy of being mindful of happiness, and the coemergent joy with the characteristics of increasing emptiness, they advocate this, which is a very good explanation. Therefore, in the mindfulness of the small position of the accumulation path, the happiness to be actually practiced is those eight, and the remaining eight are taken as the object of intention. If we briefly explain the meaning of their accomplishment, then the four, such as the body, appear as the four, such as impurity, in name, but nothing is established in reality. Such practice is the four mindfulnesses of the Sutra School, and they are all included in the practice of the two non-selves of the selflessness of nature and the selflessness of person. Contemplating the body as the deity's body and increasing it with bliss and emptiness, and also increasing all things such as feelings, consciousness, mental factors, and objective appearances with bliss and emptiness, these are the four mindfulnesses of the path of the highest yoga tantra. The so-called "mindfulness" means practice, and practicing with mindfulness shows the method of practice, and the nature is the wisdom of knowing that and this. Therefore, faith, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom are all complete, although the terms of these five are not used, but mainly wisdom is divided into four according to the distinction of the object. If we take the small position of the accumulation path, the first of the external is mainly the generation stage, and the latter three of the external are the completion stage.

Secondly, the four right abandonments are: to generate unarisen virtue, to increase arisen virtue, to abandon arisen non-virtue, and to not generate unarisen non-virtue. These four are, in order, to cultivate without interruption in order to generate previously unattained qualities and to increase the aspects of virtue; to strive so that the virtue that has already arisen in one's own mind-stream, which becomes the cause of attaining Buddhahood, does not decline and increases; to exert effort in order to abandon all types of non-virtue that have arisen in one's own mind-stream; to hold the mind without forgetting the object of virtue; and to generate a strong desire so that non-virtue that has not arisen before but will arise now does not arise in one's own mind-stream, and to initiate diligence with great effort in the three doors of body, speech, and mind, without leaving any residue. Thirdly, there are four legs of miraculous power. The leg of miraculous power of aspiration: the object and aspect are the same as the four mindfulnesses, and with the four right abandonments as companions, the mind is placed in one-pointedness solely through strong aspiration. That is, it relies on reverence and strong aspiration focused on special qualities, like not feeling hunger or thirst. The leg of miraculous power of diligence: meditating by relying on constant diligence that is joyful in accomplishing qualities. The leg of miraculous power of mind: meditating by clarifying the imprints of previously cultivated samadhi that are present in the mind. The leg of miraculous power of investigation: like "Do I always practice subtle non-virtue?", investigating the cause of samadhi and what to adopt and abandon without being confused by wisdom. If these four are cultivated intensely, and the four differences of attention are obtained, then one will be far from the manifestation of the ten afflictions of dullness, sleep, excitement, regret, jealousy, stinginess, shamelessness, lack of embarrassment, anger, and concealment. After that, in order to abandon the ten subtle afflictions, one strives for shamatha and vipashyana by relying on these four legs of miraculous power. As explained below, shamatha is perfected by relying on the eight activities that abandon the five faults. The nature of these legs of miraculous power is not established as the four, such as intention.
