Regarding the explanation of conduct, some believe in relying on asceticism, while others say that food that strengthens the body is necessary. Both of these views seem to miss the point. In the general definition of conduct, some abandon asceticism and pursue enjoyment, and there is no necessity to eat even when attaining the supreme state of flourishing samadhi. Therefore, the other two conducts seek to enjoy many possessions, while this conduct does not specifically seek more than the necessities for sustaining the body. For example, in the practice of the ultimate clear light conduct, whichever of the three is mainly practiced, one must definitely practice either with or without elaboration. Until the attainment of a body composed only of wind and mind, it is acceptable to rely on any of the three conducts. For those with sharp faculties, it is extremely non-elaborate and swift; for those with medium faculties, it is non-elaborate; and for those with inferior faculties, it is elaborate. Considering this, there is no contradiction in the Kadampa Geshes' reversing the application of the three levels of wisdom. If an illusory body can be attained after the arising of the realization of appearance without relying on conduct, if one thinks that this contradicts the necessity of practicing the first two conducts, there is no contradiction. If conduct is not practiced, it can be accomplished by relying on the force of karma, but if conduct is practiced, unless it is a proximate cause of Buddhahood, if it is purely non-elaborate, one must definitely abandon the force of karma. Therefore, after obtaining appearance, it is impossible to accomplish it with purely non-elaboration, and that is the reason. Furthermore, during conduct, fierce practices occur, such as focusing and urging the deity residing in the lotus of the mudra to grant accomplishments by striking it with a phurba (ritual dagger). Moreover, the practice combined with conduct should ideally be performed for six months. If it is not accomplished, repeat it twice; if it is not accomplished, repeat it three times, and it will be accomplished. If it is still not accomplished, it is said that by performing a fierce practice, such as the ritual of killing Vajrasattva, it will definitely be accomplished. In Tibet, some consider it to be the completion stage, while others consider it to be the conduct of the generation stage. What must be done is the conduct of urging the yidam deity by someone who has a profound realization of the completion stage, who has an inconceivable view, and who has previously completed the generation stage, that is, mainly relying on the generation stage.

This is a special point: meeting with that deity immediately accomplishes the supreme, this is a special key instruction. Secondly, regarding the meaning of the scripture, it is divided into three parts: the order of conduct, the result, and the ritual. The first part is: striving to prevent the coarse appearance of duality with bliss is considered "abandonment," or temporarily abandoning the samadhi of the all-pervading vipassana of the noble path, this is the supreme conduct of all-pervading. The good person first practices, all the falsehoods, adultery, harsh words, etc. that have been done, in the causal stage, with the mind of enlightenment, and seeing the special need, that is, the way to quickly achieve enlightenment oneself, in the main stage, it becomes the play of non-conceptual wisdom, and in the fruition stage, one's own wisdom increases and benefits others, therefore, these are all supreme good deeds that are not tainted by the stain of sin, and there can never be any evil deeds in this. In all places, times, and circumstances, one practices pure goodness, this is the conduct of Samantabhadra, which is the intermediate conduct. As it is said in the Buddha Samayoga Tantra: "To the lustful, turn into lust, to the wrathful, turn into supreme wrath, to the peaceful, turn into supreme peace, to the violent, subdue with violence." This is practicing according to what needs to be tamed, and this is called seeing goodness as equality. As it is said in the Samputa Tantra: "His sin and merit, both are discriminations, the wise should abandon these." Therefore, this is realizing the reality of no acceptance or rejection. By practicing these, one obtains countless accomplishments. After obtaining great heat, if it turns into meaning, then one should practice the conduct of surpassing all directions. Because one is fearless and without doubt, one can overpower demons, non-humans, heretics, etc., as well as people and speech, and cut off all hatred and malice. Furthermore, by the emanations of accomplishments and magical powers, one accomplishes the benefit of others tirelessly, and finally practices the conduct of surpassing all directions. These three conducts can also be divided into three types, such as with elaboration. The second part is: by practicing these, one obtains the higher paths of seeing, meditation, etc., as well as the ten bhumis, higher and lower. The third part is: by the conduct of with elaboration, without elaboration, and extremely without elaboration, one gradually accomplishes the completion of the fourth initiation.
