Because of not being proficient in the Mother Tantra, in the context of determining the fifth stage, in order to exaggerate others, in general, although the two truths merging into the illusory body of luminosity are very numerous, it should be known that this is merely the common two truths. Because it does not conform to the bardo, it is not considered a fault, and comparing the category of impure illusory body to dualistic grasping, combining it with the non-dual wisdom body is extremely erroneous. In the *Compendium of Practices*, it is also said: 'Like King Indrabhuti, having abandoned the husk of the aggregates, transformed into a vajra body, together with many supreme consorts, disappeared from sight, possessing eight qualities, going from Buddha-field to Buddha-field,' thus, through actions with characteristics, the unified body is accomplished, the ordinary body is transformed, and merges into the nature of the non-dual wisdom body, so it is said that the husk of the aggregates is abandoned and disappears from sight. Nagarjuna giving his head in charity and so on are emanations, how could there be a flesh and blood body when the unified body is accomplished? Furthermore, the meaning of no coming and going is the meaning of no arising of luminosity, so it is said that the unified state does not have these, and seeing the statement that the unified state arises from luminosity as contradictory, immediately upon arising, they perform contraction and expansion, and then merge back in, and then do not arise again, and so on, doing many unfounded things. The reason for no coming and going is that both coming and going are spoken of, what could be more mistaken than this? According to your view, because there are separate calm abiding and subsequent attainment, the unified body will never be accomplished, it will become to that extent. We, from the time of attaining the eighth ground onwards, establish the aspect of seeing what is as calm abiding, and the aspect of seeing how many as subsequent attainment, and do not consider calm abiding and subsequent attainment to be truly existent. The main subject of the unified state is also not established on the aspect of whether or not there is calm abiding and subsequent attainment. In general, the unified state has high and low, each ground has its own unified state, other than learners and non-learners, we do not make distinctions of primary and secondary in the unified state. Third, in general, this unified body has eight powers, eight tastes, seven limbs, and eight qualities, a total of thirty-one limbs. These are all discussed in the preceding and following texts, so the unified body here is the unified

The twenty-three unions are complete. If all the sources were written down, it would become too much, so the essence is: realizing that there is no acceptance or rejection in samsara and nirvana is the union of samsara and nirvana. Knowing that the nature of both the defiled and purified dharmas is the same in bliss and emptiness is the union of defilement and purification. Both grasping at existence and non-existence dissolve into samadhi and become one taste, which is the union of existence and non-existence. Both the grasper and the grasped realize equality in emptiness, and the appearance of duality ceases in samadhi, which is the union of non-duality of grasper and grasped. Abandoning the extremes of permanence and annihilation, both innate and imputed, is the union of non-duality of permanence and annihilation. All compassion is emptiness, and all emptiness manifests as compassion, with the essence being one, which is the union of emptiness and compassion. Abiding in the great bliss of the union of father and mother tantras, is the union of father and mother tantras, method and wisdom. Because the vajra body is accomplished and liberated from birth and death, therefore, there is no difference between remainder and no remainder, which is the union of remainder and no remainder. Seeing that all dharmas are inseparable in the union of self-nature appearance and emptiness, knowing that the difference between the two selflessnesses of dharma and person is that their respective entities are not established, and having no attachment to them, is the union of two selflessnesses. Then, as mentioned above, it is the union of self-blessing and clear light. Then there is no difference between the arising and completion phases of the perfection stage, which is the inseparable union of the arising and completion phases of the perfection stage, and the subsequent destruction of that, that union, which means without difference. Before the clear light of the previous meaning is manifested, the bliss and emptiness that is merely the appearance gathered by the perfection stage, from which the subsequent attainment does not arise, cannot be practiced unless the body and bliss are practiced in turn. Here, even if emptiness is practiced, the body naturally arises, and practicing the body bliss and emptiness naturally arise, which is their union. It is also acceptable to combine these two into one and make two unions. Seeing the essence of the two truths as equality is the union of the two truths. Focusing on suchness, and focusing on suchness as it is, in both, the wisdom that sees them arises simultaneously, which is the union of focus. Completely abandoning ordinary sleep except for the sleep of clear light, one can accumulate merit whether asleep or not, and there is no difference in how to benefit beings and how wisdom arises, which is the sleep-awake uni
