It is. If asked, what kind of sentient being is it? It is the all-ground consciousness together with the mind, blessed by the three appearances. Fourth, it is perfectly united with wind. The three consciousnesses again transform into the body of a yogi. That is called the illusory body. It is taught in five stages. The special characteristic of the mind, which is the basis of transformation through the bliss of the three consciousnesses, appears as the appearance of a deity. The supporting wind also takes the form of a deity. It is the union of these two. This is now called the impure illusory body, because the afflictive obscurations have not been abandoned. As an example, there are slight differences in the Wisdom Vajra Samucchaya and those blessed by the noble deities. However, according to the Wisdom Vajra Samucchaya, although it is not established by nature, it appears merely from the collection of causes and conditions, like an illusion; all-pervasive, like the moon in water; although separated from flesh and bones, it appears as a body, like a shadow; emanations display and gather many, like a mirage; composed only of wind and mind, like a dream; although the same stream as the ripened body, it appears as different, like an echo; appearing as the mandala of the support and the supported, like a city of gandharvas; although one, it shows many, like a magic trick; colors clear and unmixed, like a rainbow; a coarse body, like lightning that makes a field appear in the gaps like clouds; spontaneously arising from emptiness without conceptual thought, like a bubble bursting from water; limbs and branches complete at once, like a reflection in a mirror, these are twelve. Each example shows one aspect of the characteristic, possessing twelve characteristics. There are three main examples, in the five stages it is said: "The reflection in a mirror symbolizes the illusory body, the colors are like a rainbow, pervasive like the moon in water." As it is said, limbs complete at once, appearing but without nature, like a reflection in a mirror; colors distinct and unmixed, like a rainbow; as one moon rises, reflections appear at once in all water, like the illusory body, although the essence is not different, the appearance of mandalas etc. is endless.

Appearances are like the moon in water. Later, some who claim to be followers of the venerable Lhodrak Marpa believe that the ability to transmigrate consciousness also arises from this illusory body, which is a guess made without proper learning. Transference of consciousness is merely the blocking of the gate of the winds and the purification of the object of transference from the heart gate. For entering a corpse, in addition to that, if one can block the manifestation of the belief in the reality of external appearances, then it is blocked; if one has mastered the skill of transferring and entering the bindu of the path of mudra at will; and if one has pleased the external deities and dakinis, making them special companions, then even if one has not accomplished the special way in which the winds enter, abide, and dissolve in the central channel, one can master it. Even if one has accomplished it, if those are not complete, it will not succeed. This naming of the separation of wind-mind and the gross body, thinking that the body of wind-mind can go to many Buddha-fields, etc., and considering the wind-mind and the gross body as different like clothes because of these signs, is unreasonable. There are many things to analyze here, but for now, that is all. Third, explaining union, it is divided into: the cause, manifest enlightenment; the result, the nature of union; and a brief explanation of what is to be abandoned, the support, and the boundaries. The first part is divided into: the basis, the essence, the way of entering, and the special features. First, the basis is that very impure illusory body. Second, the essence is the wisdom of abandoning the seeds of the eighty natures, the nature of the path of seeing, the new seeing of the Dharma nature that has not been seen, the wisdom of the cessation of dualistic appearance. The similar aspects of this are all the gross dualistic appearances of example luminosity that subside in various ways. If one introduces the stages of manifest enlightenment without this much arising, then one will explain many reasons why it is not the stages of manifest enlightenment and refute it, but the former side prevails, and some followers of the former side, without the oral instructions of the holy lama, will also explain many reasons that seem to be the stages of manifest enlightenment. But this also does not fulfill the intention of the former side. For example, if one has not seen the body of the Buddha himself, and shows paintings, etc., introducing an image similar to the body of the Buddha, and then says, "Meditate like this!" It is like that, but if one deceives with false lies, saying, "Now you have attained the path of seeing," then from the past to the present, there has been no profound instruction of introduction.
