Therefore, (wisdom) merges into it very harmoniously. Meditation with analysis is not like that, because there is no elaboration on the object, and the subject focuses on various situations such as existence and non-existence. Even in each moment, hundreds and thousands of thoughts arise, so there is no elaboration on the object, but the subject clings to all elaborations. If one is not accustomed to the view of analysis, even if one remembers, attachment cannot be stopped, just as one may believe in the emptiness of food, but still finds it difficult to give up when actually eating it. Second, explaining the aspect of appearance, including the essence of appearance, its classification, and a detailed explanation of the illusory body. First, it is in accordance with the deity's body image of the Completion Stage. Second, the yogi of the Completion Stage, through the ordinary blessing of the mind dissolving into bliss and the power of meditating on the deity, the deity's body image clearly appears in a state of non-conceptualization. The self-blessing of the illusory body is a body formed solely from wind and mind. The yoga with signs is the three classifications of the appearance of signs such as smoke. Third, including the state of samsara, the basis for cultivating the illusory body, the causes for obtaining the illusory body, and the essence of the illusory body and its metaphors. First, it is said in the sutra: "Here, nothing is born, nor does destruction exist, the nature of mind always abides, samsara should be known as such." Birth, death, and other arising and reversing of sentient beings all arise from the mind. And "The four elements of earth and so on, similarly the four elements of emptiness, are the cause of arising and ceasing, these eight objects should be known. From the clear light, great emptiness, from which arises skillful means, from which arises wisdom, from which arises wind, from wind arises fire, from fire arises water, from water arises earth, the birth of sentient beings is like this." And "Earth merges into the water element" and so on. The three realms cease in this way. That is, the four appearances of mind and the four elements of the body, these eight are the cause of the flowing and reversing of samsara. When sentient beings with gross bodies die, the elements merge in a coarse-to-fine order, so the three appearances also merge into the clear light in order. When arising, it is also, obtaining, increasing, appearing, arising from the four elements of wind and so on, and then this gross appearance arises.

As previously explained, the bardo is formed immediately after arising from the luminosity of death. Here, if we are to explain the nature of the subtle and the gross realms, it is in terms of the body, the mind, and both. First, flesh, bones, blood, etc., are the gross body; abiding is the channels; moving is the wind; arrangement is the subtle bodhicitta; the fifth wind-ray is extremely subtle. Second, the five sense consciousnesses are gross; the mind and the eighty natures, etc., are subtle; the four appearances are extremely subtle. Third, the twenty-five natures are the five aggregates such as form, the five elements such as earth, the five senses such as the eye, the five objects such as form, and the five primordial wisdoms of the base period such as the mirror-like wisdom; these twenty-five are gross. The nature-ridden wind is subtle, and the four appearances becoming wind-ridden are extremely subtle. Among them, the mirror-like wisdom is the clarity and purity of the mind; the wisdom of equality is feeling and knowing; the wisdom of discernment is the recognition of the meaning of names and objects; the wisdom of accomplishment is the desire to act; the wisdom of the dharmadhatu is the realm that is not clearly visible. And the consciousness is also identified with the five sense consciousnesses. Second, this gross body is repeatedly abandoned, so it is not the original body. The continuous original body is the wind-mind, the support or vehicle of the mind's clarity that does not cease is the wind. Because this subtle body exists, it takes the gross bodies. Again, abandoning the gross, it becomes the subtle body, and again takes the gross body, etc., rotating like a wheel. All the gross and subtle mentioned above do the same. Then, the original body is the basis for this practice. Third, in the five stages, it is said: "The rainbow body and speech are obtained by meditating on that." In general, it is said that it is accomplished by meditating on the suchness of indivisible bliss and emptiness. Here, what is actually obtained is the ultimate luminosity of example and the luminosity of the ultimate mind-isolation. Once that arises, in the second moment, the wind-mind body is accomplished, and the ultimate luminosity of example is the appearance of the dissolution process at the time of death as it is. Just as the luminosity of death is the dividing line between the resultant body and the wind-mind, this is also termed as separating the two. The essence is that one's own life-force wind and mind are inseparable, and that will truly transform into the deity's body.
