However, all the hidden things seen by the six superknowledges of the noble ones appear to be not preceded by inference. Therefore, for someone with cataracts seeing strands of hair, etc., even if the reason for their non-existence is explained, there will be certainty of their non-existence, but the appearance is not contradictory. Even if the reason is not explained at all, it is like taking good medicine, the things that appeared as strands of hair, etc., disappear, and one directly sees their non-existence. Although we respect the path of inference because we are skilled in it, it is not entirely universal. As the glorious hero Sarahas said: "When conceptualization declines, wisdom declines. Evil intellect always follows after concepts. From that very nature, good intellect arises. What could be superior to the sky?" This means that those with evil intellect think that without conceptualization, there is no wisdom of individual discernment, so conceptualization is necessary. But Sarahas said that the arising of any excellent wisdom from non-conceptualization is something that inference alone cannot achieve. Some people think that the generation stage of channels, winds, bindus, bliss, etc., is not the completion stage, and that the completion stage is merely meditating on non-elaboration. They also quote scriptures saying that first is the generation stage, in the middle is the bliss of the action seal, and finally is meditating on non-conceptualization, thinking that meditating on great bliss is good in the beginning, middle, and end. They quote the scripture said in the Mind Commentary: "Having completely abandoned all thoughts, one should thoroughly examine in one day. If signs do not arise at that time, then my words are false." In reality, if the channels, winds, and bindus preceded by the generation stage are practiced for a long time, and then one abides in the action seal, then that innate experience is the first direct perception, then the phrase "one should thoroughly examine in one day" would also become irrelevant. Such questions are asked a lot. Regarding these questions, the intention of the Mind Commentary is the same as the tantras. Because the key to understanding the many intentions within it is not understood, it needs to be extensively examined elsewhere. The actual answer is that the Mind Commentary denies the view that these are the ultimate completion stage. We also do not think they are ultimate. For some people, even if they enter this path of non-conceptualization, they may not see signs of direct perception even after years and months. For qualified disciples of mantra, from the time of empowerment,

Since there are three paths of application, how does that contradict saying one day? With the yoga of channels, winds, and bindus, why wouldn't the signs of just one day appear for a qualified disciple? Therefore, do not speak nonsense. Secondly: As before, the scriptural authority of the Root Tantra. In the Explanatory Tantra, Ocean of Dakinis, it says: "Gathering separately and likewise, Meditation, life-force exertion, and holding, Recollection and samadhi, are the six characteristics of union." The instruction given is in accordance with the oral transmission, namely: Gathering inward the engagement of thoughts of forms, etc., which follow the five ordinary sense consciousnesses, is gathering separately; placing the mind on the form of the deity is meditation, that is: contemplating the aggregates, elements, and sense bases as the nature of the deity is contemplation; making the mind steadfast on the object is discernment; because the mind is steadfast on the object of the deity, joy arises in the mind is joy; when the appearance of the deity dawns, the mind becomes satisfied by it is bliss; samadhi abides in its natural state, turning away from ordinary appearances and abiding single-pointedly on the body of the deity is single-pointedness, these are the five branches of meditation. These two are the generation stage. Life-force exertion, whether it is bindu, or fire gazing, or wind yoga, is acceptable, that is, causing the wind to enter the central channel, performing the three, entering, abiding, and dissolving. Holding is that from the power of that dissolving, through the stages of blazing and dripping of inner heat, the five signs of the winds dissolving into the bindu arise. Recollection is when the clear appearance of the signs increases and pervades all appearances, performing the gathering and dispersing of the mandala and bliss. Samadhi is the attainment of the wisdom body and manifest enlightenment, cultivating luminosity, all of these later four must be complete in the completion stage. There is much to be said about these as well, but because it would become too much, I will leave it for now. Secondly: In the Ocean of Dakinis, it says: "One's own body is equal to illusion, My blessing is this subtle, The vajra recitation is its own nature, The treasure of complete bodhicitta, Beyond that is the remainder, union." With the vajra and other phrases, it refers to the stages of vajra recitation, with the treasure of the mind, it refers to mind isolation, with the two lines beginning with one's own body, it refers to the illusory body, and with complete bodhi, it refers to the stages of manifest enlightenment.
