Moreover, it is difficult to gain stability immediately, therefore, both the generation stage and the completion stage need to be practiced in combination. Practicing the completion stage also helps the generation stage. When the generation stage is stable, it is integrated into the completion stage for practice. Due to the power of blessings and the differences in faculties and abilities, as well as some differences in the way of guidance, it may be sufficient for inferior and intermediate individuals to practice only the completion stage. In short, the most supreme thing or the most sacred thing refers to coemergent wisdom. Although the scriptures of sound are not the true nature itself, just as writing is done to understand only the sound, artificial yoga is also not the true nature itself, but only for the purpose of accomplishing various activities. This is the meaning that is said, and it is not explained as the highest stage of the path. The third is: Thus, those who follow karma, people diligently do all things, taking up afflictions through effort, their own minds are completely destroyed. Therefore, all efforts in the branches of rituals such as mandalas, do not lead to liberation, but only to exhaustion. Buddhahood is not attained through non-discrimination, nor is it attained through discrimination. Those who are extremely pure and fully understand, are the very nature of transformation. Thus, relying on the yoga of the generation stage, the mind is focused on following the accomplishment of various activities, therefore, people who desire common results do this and that, but through the painful efforts of body, speech, and mind, they are in affliction for a long time, feeling tired, generating exhaustion, and their own minds do not truly abide in suchness, therefore they are again destroyed by afflictions and suffering. This is to say that although common results are achieved, because they are not liberated from samsara, it is a continuous suffering, and great efforts are spent on small things to gain fatigue. This is the meaning that is said. In short, explaining it as not obtaining both contradicts the previous explanation of the necessity of artificiality. Therefore, all the efforts made for the branches of the rituals such as the mandala of the generation stage, that is, the various parts, do not lead to obtaining the Bodhi of liberation from all obscurations, therefore, making hundreds and thousands of efforts for the sake of the supreme goal is only in vain.

Furthermore, some people combine mantras with forms in this way, lacking both bodhicitta and meditation. Those who possess the vajra of body, speech, and mind. In short, if analyzed, the samadhi attached to mantras should be practiced in conjunction with bodhicitta. As stated in tantras such as the Guhyasamaja, with discriminating wisdom, completely abandoning emptiness and all characteristics, and abiding in the realm free from all afflictions and conceptualizations, they think that enlightenment can be attained merely by doing so. It is said, "Enlightenment is not attained from non-conceptualization." This is merely acting on a false facade of emptiness, relying on the extreme of nihilism, and degenerating from the accumulation of merit, so it is not the true path to attaining enlightenment. Similarly, even all those conceptualizations, such as meditating on deities in the sequence of Chandra Vajra and others, cannot transform. As it is said, "Whether it is virtuous or non-virtuous, anything is a distinction of conceptualization. Just as with fire and burning, since there is no basis for distinction, there is no difference." Like this, whatever is a temporary, artificial step is certainly not the path to manifesting the primordial Buddha. For example, just like ordinary conceptualizations, virtuous conceptualizations are also artificial and temporary. That is what is said. Regarding this, some people think like this: If we abandon something because it is not a direct cause of enlightenment, then everything other than the uninterrupted path must be purified. Moreover, merely circumambulating a stupa will become a distant cause of unsurpassed enlightenment, so why can't these artificial meditations transform? Although they have thought much in this way, it is not said that we must abandon something because it is not a direct cause of attaining enlightenment, nor is it said that it cannot be transformed into a method transmitted from a very, very long time ago, but rather that these artificial paths are not indispensable causes for attaining enlightenment, nor are they uncommon paths. That is what is said. Thus, by negating the yogis with conceptualizations and even the state of mere emptiness even without conceptualizations, thinking that these are not the correct paths. Therefore, those wise ones who fully understand the sequence of extreme purity and practice it will certainly become Buddhas, so that sequence is the correct path.
