Union, holding and releasing the lotus. In between, the intermediate state being enters the mandala, fainting with bliss is the descent of wisdom. The complete accomplishment of the body is the display of the mandala. What precedes this is the preliminary. Again, in the womb, empowerment is given with the nectar of vajra and lotus, the father's bindu is the topknot, the union of limbs is the vajra bell, the arising of breath is the name, not wearing clothes is asceticism, birth is non-retrogression, eating essence is secret empowerment, arising from water is wisdom empowerment. Thus it is said. Then, the mandala of the channels is shown: The thirty-seven principal channels' wheel is considered to be the mandala. That is, the channels are also called mandala, because they take and hold the essential bindu. Then, the mandala of bodhicitta is shown: Bodhicitta is a jewel, the essence itself is the mandala. Thus, the bindu is also called mandala, because it takes and holds the essential great bliss. For the latter two mandalas, only verbal explanations are given, without detailed explanation, because it is considered that it has already been explained in detail above. Then, the common meaning of the three mandalas is explained: By the nature of outer and inner, it pervades and exists in various ways. External forms and sounds, etc., are where the six senses enter. Internal semen, etc., are where the accomplished substances exist. By the nature of inner with outer, bodhicitta is Vajradhara. By the nature of gross and subtle, it is the nature of a friend to beings. The meaning of the vows of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas arises from this. In this life, one can attain Buddhahood, obtained from this mandala. The Shravakas and Buddhas, as well as Pratyekabuddhas, are also the same. Brahma and other gods are born from this mandala. Thus, the three mandalas mentioned above, pervade all of the external world and the internal sentient beings, in various ways such as nature, function, cause, and effect. Therefore, all beings are the nature of the five Buddhas. Like the appearance of a dancer and a good painter. Whoever is called the sixth Buddha, the solitary pacified one dances in many ways. Thus it is said.

The detailed explanation of this is as follows: From the external forms and the internal six faculties, the conventional truth is like the present, and the ultimate truth arises as great bliss. This is because the nature of these is the mandala. The so-called "six enter" means that the six enter in the manner of the mandala's dharma nature. The internal semen and other substances that are originally accomplished, the five ambrosias and the five elements also abide in the same way. Thus, for all internal and external phenomena, the mind of enlightenment is Vajradhara, abiding as the protector and the all-pervading lord. How does it abide? With the nature of gross and subtle, in various ways as the friend of beings, with the nature of great compassion that benefits sentient beings. Regarding gross and subtle, some say that the gross is the substances arising from the twenty-four channels and the nine orifices, and the subtle is the essence of the mind of enlightenment. Therefore, it is said: The distinction between gross and subtle, belonging to the two kinds of existent things, the coarse substances are nine kinds, the subtle essence is the accomplished substance, the other is the distinction of melting substances. Others say that the gross is the form aggregate, and the subtle are the other four aggregates. Still others say that the gross are the six objects and the bindu, and the subtle are consciousness and bliss. Although there are various explanations, in general, they are not contradictory. Here, the gross is the conventional truth, and the subtle is the ultimate truth. The self-luminous light of great bliss is objectless compassion, so it is the friend of beings. Therefore, the ultimate mind of enlightenment is the essence of emptiness and compassion, and by the reason of abiding in the dharma nature of all dharmas, in accordance with the manner and form of abiding, striving on the path, so that the truth of that abiding may be manifested, this is the uncommon interdependent action, because it relies on the dharma nature, so no one can transcend it, it is the samaya. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, that is, the meaning of the samaya of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, by meditating on the three mandalas, in this life one can attain Buddhahood. By purifying all the defilements of these three, one becomes a Buddha, and by purifying accordingly, one becomes a Shravaka or Pratyekabuddha. Even if one has not actually purified the defilements, by slightly relying on goodness that is of the same nature and similar, one can become a great god such as Brahma from the share of the qualities of these three.
