Single consonants are vowels, and soft consonants are consonants. The letters A, Ā, etc., and A, Ka, Ca, Ṭa, Ta, Pa, Ya, Śa, etc., are mentioned as the first letters of the eight groups. Although it is also shown that these eight letters reside on the eight petals of the inner circle of the navel emanation wheel, it is also definitely shown that fifty letters of the eight groups reside on the outer circle. On top of that, Ā, Ī, Ū, Ai, Au, Āḥ are also added to the outer circle, making fifty-six. Thus, there are eight in the inner circle and fifty-six in the outer circle, totaling sixty-four channels connected. This is how it is when meditating by focusing on the wheel of letters, but the actual meaning of the scripture is that from the navel wheel, the fundamental winds from which all verbal expressions arise circulate, and also because the power of the long vowels to arise is slightly stronger than the power of other letters, therefore the six long vowels are explained separately, and this is spoken from the perspective of the fundamental way of abiding. As a mere symbol to represent that it abides in this way at the base, letters are placed in this way when meditating on Tummo, but the meaning of the scripture is not merely to show the visualization of the four Tummo wheels, but to show the fundamental way of abiding, and the following should also be inferred in this way. Therefore, the eight letters indicate the eight groups, and the six long vowels are mentioned again, which must be understood as those with great power. Aṃ (Tibetan: ཨཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) is the letter to be placed in the center of that wheel, it is the letter of the inexpressible Dharma nature, it is the wisdom of the indestructible sound, and it symbolizes the essence of the red Bodhicitta that abides in the center of the navel, relying on it, that is free from all elaboration, and from the conventional point of view, it is the basis from which all letters arise, and from the ultimate point of view, it is the basis from which the indestructible sound and all the aggregates of Dharma arise, therefore it is represented by the short vowel A, because the short vowel A is known in the world as the basis of all letters. Because it abides in the suchness nature of the three Vajras, therefore, the crescent moon, Bindu, and Nada are used as symbols on top. The Dharma wheel in the heart is the five aggregates and the four elements.

Representing it as "wind moving," write the nine letters such as bhrum, namely: on the front petal, the wind of form aggregate is represented by bhrum; on the right, the feeling aggregate by am; on the back, the perception aggregate by jrim; on the left, the mental formation aggregate by kham; and in the central navel chakra, the wind of the consciousness aggregate is represented by hum. These are successively the winds of the earth, water, fire, wind, and space elements, but mainly the aspect of skillful means. In the southeast, the earth element wind is represented by the letter lam; in the southwest, the water element wind by the letter mam; in the northwest, the fire element wind by the letter bam; and in the northeast, the wind element wind by the letter tam. These are mainly the aspect of wisdom. Although there is also the space element here, it is not mentioned separately because it is integrated with the previous one in the central navel chakra. In some examples, om, tram, hrih, ah, etc., are used instead of bhrum, etc., because the way things exist is not fixed in written form, so there is no conflict in meditating on any of the five families' seed syllables. Although the arrangement of letters described in the "Spring Drop" is slightly different, that is described in the union of Vajra Dakini, while this is the tradition of Hevajra, as the previous lamas have said. However, as far as our own tradition is concerned, the symbolic meaning is the same, so these are considered to be different names. On the throat chakra, the enjoyment wheel, the om in the center is the leader of all letters, symbolizing the manifestation of speech and the ability to arise all expressions, as well as the ability to taste all flavors, nourishing the aggregates, elements, and sense bases. The syllable om is an offering mantra and the basis for accomplishing all root mantras, therefore praising the syllable om, making the ritual of mantras the leader of all mantras. A, i, u, e are short vowels, the four letters inside the throat, and the twelve vowels that arise from the transformations of these four letters themselves, omitting the four neuter sounds, are arranged on the outer periphery. To symbolize the presence of the wind that activates the letters in the throat chakra, emptinesses are mainly arranged. On the crown chakra, the great bliss wheel, is the syllable ham, meaning as long as the body remains.
