In the center of the moon in one's own heart, One should place the Suchness of all. From its rays arise, Offerings are made by Dakinis and others. Having prostrated, one speaks these words. Thus, first in the center of the moon in one's own heart, One contemplates the mandala of the moon arising from the letter A. Above it, one meditates on the letter Hūṃ. (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) As it arises, this is the fundamental source for establishing the moon in the heart, and in the explanation of terms: In the center of the sky of one's own heart, One contemplates the sun mandala residing. Above it is the supreme and excellent one, The five wisdoms are peaceful. With various bright rays, Shining in various ways and pervading everywhere. Urged by the previously accomplished ones, One also performs the activity of blessing. The realm of space is very pleasing, One sees the supreme mandala. Like a sesame pod, One sees the deities and wrathful ones pervading. The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and, The Bodhicitta is the chief of the Lamas. Having seen the various goddesses, I shall make offerings and speak. The Buddhas' emanations, hosts of manifestations, The wrathful kings, Yoginis, Liberate the six realms of sentient beings, And place them in the state of Buddhahood. In the sky, which is all-pervading, Having seen the supreme ones residing, Until the essence of Bodhi, I take refuge in all three jewels. All sentient beings without exception, Reside in the state of Buddhahood. There, the practitioner makes supplications, And always takes refuge and practices. Thus it is said. Although that Tantra speaks of contemplating the sun in the heart, the phrase "by the previously accomplished ones" means that one does not visualize inviting from elsewhere, but rather the source of meditation is in the manner of clarifying the existing luminosity. Inviting the Lama means meditating in the sky above, meditating in the corner of the palace, meditating in the charnel ground, meditating as inseparable from the chief of the mandala, and meditating in the manner of his retinue, etc., should be done according to one's own instructions. Therefore, in general, no matter how one meditates, there is no contradiction. Here, although one only visualizes one wheel of the mandala, one must know that its essence is the nature of gathering all worthy of offerings. Therefore, it is offering to all places of the supreme assembly field, not just a small part. In reality.
