This is the first ritual. From this, rays of light emanate, completely purifying the three realms. All containers transform into immeasurable palaces, and all essences transform into the assembly of Heruka deities. Gathering again, the moon, sun, earth seed-syllables, hand implements, and seats all merge into one taste. From this, the mandala of glorious Chakrasamvara is completely perfected. The center of Mount Meru is the wheel of great bliss, completely pure. The sky in the four directions of the corners is the mind wheel. The earth is the speech wheel. The water is the body wheel. Thereafter, the special places and the external environment are the pure mandalas of fire and wind, which are the charnel grounds. Furthermore, on the outside is the protective wheel, and inside the extremely vast space is the black vajra ground. There are eight great charnel grounds, starting from the east in a clockwise direction: piercing with a spear, cremation, pus-smelling, and putrid. From the Lord of Power in a counterclockwise direction: child corpse, snake-entwined, fierce battlefield, and remnants. Alternatively, one can meditate on Tumdrags and so forth in accordance with the general practice, because it is spoken of in the tantras. In these places, they are completely filled with directional guardians, field guardians, trees, fire, water, clouds, mountains, stupas, and accomplished heroes and yoginis. In the center of that is an immeasurable palace made of various jewels, square, with four doors, possessing five walls, with eaves, half-nets, crossbeams, battlements, and parapets, all characteristics completely perfected. The four porticos are supported by four pillars each, with three tiers made of jewels and gold, each with beams, drunken guardians, and short pillars separating the three abodes of goddesses, with a harmi vase pinnacle on top. The outer offering ground has the colors of the directions, with various offerings, surrounded by a red border. Alternatively, it can be made into a smooth red courtyard. The inner deity banners are black in the east, red in the south, yellow in the west, and white in the north, with a size equal to half the door. Inside that, high up, is the white eight-spoked body wheel, with a ring of spokes.
