The transformation into wrathful forms is as follows: At the root of the tongue is the crow-faced mother, at the navel is the owl-faced mother, at the secret place is the dog-faced mother, at the anus is the pig-faced mother, at the treasury's hole is Yama the steadfast mother, at the two ear holes are Yama's messenger mothers, at the two eye holes are Yama's tusked mothers, and at the two nostrils are Yama's destroying mothers. Third, the mandala of Dharma, it is good to speak according to the explicit teachings of the explanatory tantras and the words of the scriptures, or do it this way: The four mindfulnesses, namely body, feeling, mind, and phenomena, are: the four Dakinis, Lama, Khandaroha, and the Formed Mother. The four legs of miraculous power, namely aspiration, effort, conduct, and mind, are: the four extremely wrathful mothers, Wrathful-Eyed Mother, Radiant Mother, and Large-Nosed Mother. The five faculties, namely faith, effort, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom, are: the Heroic-Minded Mother, the Short Mother, the Lanka Empowered Mother, the Tree-Shade Mother, and the Earth-Protecting Mothers. The five powers of faith and so on are: the Terrifying Mother, the Wind-Powered Mother, the Wine-Drinking Mother, the Blue Lotus Goddess, and the Most Excellent Mothers. The seven branches of enlightenment, namely concentration, effort, joy, pliancy, discrimination, mindfulness, and equanimity, are: the Horse-Eared Mother, the Bird-Faced Mother, the Wheel-Powered Mother, the Severed-Birth Mother, the Wine-Selling Mother, the Armor Mother, and the Extremely Heroic Mothers. Right view, right thought, right speech, right karmic boundary, right livelihood, right effort, and right mindfulness are: the Mighty Mother, the Wheel-Turning Mother, the Great Effort Mother, the Crow-Faced Mother, the Owl-Faced Mother, the Dog-Faced Mother, and the Pig-Faced Mother. Right concentration is glorious Heruka. The four are: generating virtuous qualities that have not arisen, protecting virtuous qualities that have arisen, not generating non-virtuous qualities that have not arisen, and abandoning non-virtuous qualities that have arisen: Yama the Steadfast Mother, the Messenger Mother, the Tusked Mother, and the Destroying Mother. In brief, the thirty-seven deities are the nature of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. It is sufficient to say only this much, but for beginners, it is better to explain in detail according to the order. The meaning here is: by the bliss of co-emergent attachment, all mandalas are filled, and by knowing that the wisdom of appearance-emptiness-bliss itself is complete with the thirty-seven aspects of enlightenment, the deities are pleased there.
