Oh. It is mostly considered that these reside in the posture of a Bodhisattva, but except for special cases such as the Kalachakra, the other main retinues can be understood from the power of the moon, so it is clear that they are in a standing posture. The four gatekeepers should be arranged: Oṃ Vajra Aṅkuśa Jaḥ (藏文,梵文天城体:ओँ वज्र अङ्कुश जः,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra aṅkuśa jaḥ,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra, Hook, Born), the white Vajra Hook, holding the hook with the right hand, residing with the right leg extended. Om, Vajra, Snare, Hūṃ), the southern gate is the yellow Vajra Snare, holding the Vajra Snare with the right hand, residing with the left leg extended. Om, Vajra, Lock, Vaṃ), the western gate is the red Vajra Lock, holding the lock with the right hand, residing in the posture of Saga. Om, Vajra, Enter, Hoḥ), the northern gate is the green Vajra Bell, shaking the bell with the right hand, residing in a circular posture. The left hands of these four deities all make the threatening mudra, and these four gate guardians also have the appearance of great wrathful deities. Thus, these eight great wrathful deities are: wearing tiger skins, adorned with snakes, hair tied with garlands of heads, wearing necklaces, with the same appearance as the Bhagavan himself, residing in the midst of blazing flames. In the sadhana of the deity Akara, there are slightly different body colors such as the white singer, but there is nothing inappropriate. In that sadhana, there are only methods of hooking and attracting with the Vajra Hook, etc., but it is not clear where to place them in the mandala. Nagarjuna said: The wrathful deities with various lights, burning flames of light, holding five emblems in their hands. Except for slightly mentioning the method of meditating on the five families, no other deities are placed in the mandala. It is only explained that the hooking and attracting with the Vajra Hook, etc., and coquetry, etc., are briefly placed during the offering. There is no mention of the four consorts. The sentence quoted above is in the enlightenment mandala of the main deity, so its meaning is: the six-faced wrathful deity is different from the others in that it is clear that one should meditate on transforming the body color and the final implement in the right hand into the emblems of their respective families. However, the view of the tantra is as it is usually explained. I think it would be better if the torma offerings of these four gatekeepers could be offered, it is said that this was made by Ra Yeshe Sengge, and Rongba Sher Seng.
