Translating into a stick is also a translation error. "Gada" refers to the name of a long, white stick with a decoration on top. Regarding the hand implements here, although there are some slight differences, many versions have been consulted and corrected. However, from the beginning, it seems slightly inconsistent with the original practice of Yeshe Zhap. Bless all the sources, body, speech, and mind. The empowerment is extensive, Adorned with Yama, the Lord of Death. Alternatively, adorned with the immovable crown of Indra, the Fire God, Yama, Rakshasa, and Vishnu. Vairochana for Brahma, the Earth God, and the Weaver caste. Ratnasambhava for the Water God, Yaksha, and Ganesha. Amitabha for Ishvara, the Sun, and the Moon. Amoghasiddhi adorns the Wind God, or it is also acceptable to expand with the Five Wrathful Ones from the order of the lineages. This is the method of the extensive generation practice, following the practice of the Condensed Foot. The mantra for offering Torma beyond the world is: Om Hrih Shti Vikritanana Idam Balim Grihna Grihna Sarva Dushtan Samaya Mudra Prabhanjaka. Mama Shanting Raksha Tsa Kuru Kuru Hum Hum Phat Phat Svaha. मम शान्तिं रक्ष च कुरु कुरु हुं हुं फट् फट् स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ hrīḥṣṭīḥvikritānana idaṃ baliṃ gṛhṇa gṛhṇa sarva duṣṭan samaya mudra prabhañjaka . mama śāntiṃ rakṣa ca kuru kuru hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Hrih Shti Vikritanana This Offering Accept Accept All Evil Ones Samaya Mudra Destroy Mama Shanting Protect And Do Do Hum Hum Phat Phat Svaha.) During recitation, insert the Torma mantra into the respective mantras of the main deity and the retinue. Or add Om Ah Jina Jika Idam Balim, etc., or at the end of the seventeen or thirty-two syllables, add Idam, etc., offering simultaneously to the main deity and the retinue. For Red Yama, at the end of the Torma mantra of the guardians of the directions, although there are three Ha Hi Hum Phem, here there are only two. Apart from these, there are no other differences. Thus, the generation stage of Yama, the Lord of Death, known as the Black Enemy Shang tradition, has already been explained separately. In other old texts such as the Ra tradition and the Mai tradition, although there are various subtle differences, the root meaning is not different, and the key points are the same. I have separately received the practical empowerment of the Shang tradition, and although I have not obtained different practices from those old texts of other lineages, the great Buton and other previous lamas have mostly heard the various different traditions of the Nyingma school and have summarized them into one.

Having gathered all the good qualities, mainly based on the practice mandala of Master Paljin (དཔལ་འཛིན་, Sönam Gyaltsen), I have composed the text in accordance with the scriptures and practiced accordingly. Thus, I have obtained the method of the common practice that gathers all lineages. In it, the blessings and transmissions of all previous practices are combined. Here, I have abandoned the various different treatises of other masters, the various different views of old Tibet, and the various elaborate embellishments that arose in between, and have based it purely on the views of Master Paljin (དཔལ་འཛིན་) himself. In many intermediate texts, the differences in individual instructions and secret instructions have been abandoned. While wanting to rely solely on the treatise of Paljin (དཔལ་འཛིན་), they have collected various versions unrelated to this treatise and made modifications. Seeing that these contradict the root text, they are devoid of essence. Therefore, when collecting from various treatises with and without lineage, one must not abandon those instructions that are considered to have lineage. When mainly adopting treatises with clear sources, there is no need to combine various treatises with different views into one. Whatever one does, if it contradicts the root text, it is not permissible at all and must be diligently abandoned. As for the mandala rituals of these two, the Red and Black Thirteen Deities (དམར་ནག་བཅུ་གསུམ་མ་), one must practice based on the mandala rituals that Vajra Master Paljin (དཔལ་འཛིན་) himself performed for both. Apart from minor details such as the presence or absence of protector offerings and differences in translation, there is no difference in meaning. Therefore, one empowerment mandala ritual is sufficient. Now, to briefly explain the order of what is to be purified and what purifies in these stages of the Yamāntaka (གཤིན་རྗེ་གཤེད་) practice methods: Accumulating merit through rituals for both superior and inferior supports is like accumulating the karma that causes future rebirths in previous lives. Among them, visualizing oneself as the deity and the seed syllable at the heart is like the period from taking birth to the completion of the body. Emitting rays of light onwards is like engaging in various activities during one's lifetime. Accumulating wisdom merit is like abandoning the body at that time and the mind dissolving into the clear light of death. In many previous lives, having been born and lived
