English

Having transformed afflictions and sins into the form of enemies and obstacles, visualize them dissolving into the sixteen types of animals. Afterwards, exchange and offer the life-forms every session or every day, liberating the sixteen life-forms. At the beginning and end of the practice, protect with one set of life-forms, except for replenishing them. Holding a vajra kīla and a sword, merely make the gesture of striking the life-forms, and then actually insert them into the small pit to be destroyed. If you elaborate, you can also insert the hand gestures, but this will distract from the recitation, so it should not be done. It is good if the vajra kīla is as commonly known, but if it is not available, it can be made of iron, bone, or thorny wood with a handle on the head, or in the form of a nail or needle. In any case, it must be cleaned and purified. From emptiness, the vajra kīla arises from the syllable ཕཊ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Phat), and the sword arises from the syllable ཧཱུཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). Recite seven times: ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱིཿཥྚཱིཿབི་ཀྲི་ཏཱ་ན་ན་སརྦ་པཱ་པཾ་ཤཱ་ཏྲུན་བིགྷྣཱན་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ། (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ ह्रीः ष्तीः विक्रितानन सर्व पापं शात्रुन् विघ्नान् कीलय हुं फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ hrīḥ ṣṭīḥ vikrītānana sarva pāpaṃ śātrun vighnān kīlaya hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Hrih, Shti, distorted face, all sins, enemies, obstacles, nail, Hum, Phat)Then, stab the heart with the vajra kīla. Recite again seven times: ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱྀཿཥྚཱིཿབི་ཀྲི་ཏཱ་ན་ན་སརྦ་པཱ་པཾ། སརྦ་ཤཱ་ཏྲུན་བྀགྷྣཱན་མཱ་ར་ཡ་མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།(Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ ह्रीः ष्तीः विक्रितानन सर्व पापं सर्व शात्रुन् विघ्नान् मारय मारय हुं फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ hrīḥ ṣṭīḥ vikrītānana sarva pāpaṃ sarva śātrun vighnān māraya māraya hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Hrih, Shti, distorted face, all sins, all enemies, obstacles, kill, kill, Hum, Phat)Finally, while reciting this mantra, first cut off the head of the effigy from the neck, and finally chop it into many pieces. Pile these pieces in one container, sprinkle a little red water on them, and place them on the altar. If you like elaboration, you can also recite the offering words to all the deities. If you simplify, add after the ten-syllable mantra: བཛྲ་བྷཻ་ར་བ་ཨ་ཏི་པ་ཏི་ཨི་དཾ་བ་ལིང་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཧཱུཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ། (Tibetan, Devanagari: वज्र भैरव अतिपति इदं बलिं ख ख खा हि खा हि हुं हुं फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: vajra bhairava atipati idaṃ baliṃ kha kha khā hi kha hi huṃ huṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Bhairava, Transcendent, this offering, eat, eat, eat, enjoy, enjoy, Hum, Hum, Phat)Offer according to the usual recitation of one hundred and eight times, etc., and if it is a karma, offer according to the number of karmas. As described in Je Tsongkhapa's practice, start with the blessing of the torma and make extensive torma offerings. Seventh, the subsequent activities include the post-session ritual and the dissolution of the mandala. First, set out new offerings and replenish the old ones. Perform the blessing and dissolution as before. Perform the outer offerings from ཨརྒྷཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: अर्घं, Romanized Sanskrit: arghaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Argham)to ཤཔྟའི་(Tibetan, Devanagari: शब्द, Romanized Sanskrit: śabda, Literal Chinese meaning: Shabda), the inner offerings, and the abbreviated praises. Request that the deities of the great mandala of བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དཔལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཇིགས་མཛད་(Tibetan, Devanagari: भगवन् श्री वज्रभैरव, Romanized Sanskrit: bhagavan śrī vajrabhairava, Literal Chinese meaning: Bhagavan, Shri, Vajrabhairava), as well as all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and their retinues, consider me.

O! Please pacify all diseases, demonic influences, and obstacles that arise from our past karma and from immediate circumstances. Please cause all life, merit, glory, and wealth to increase and expand from above. Please perfectly place all beings on the path to enlightenment with complete and excellent power, and please subdue those hateful and malicious beings who cannot be subdued by peaceful means through fierce activities. Please grant me and all sentient beings all supreme accomplishments without exception. Please cause the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment to be fully perfected, and may the path of the six perfections, whose nature is completely pure, arise in the mindstream. Please destroy all the demons and defilements of all sentient beings, along with their roots and impurities, into the nature of the Dharma realm. Please quickly attain the supreme accomplishment of the Great Seal, the state of the Great Vajradhara, through the easy path of means and the easy path of bliss, and the easy path of entry. Until that supreme state is attained, may all worldly and transcendent perfections be attained. Pray with these and other words. Complete the deficiencies with the Hundred Syllable Mantra. Whatever is lacking or diminished, and whatever I have done or given with a deluded mind, may the protector forgive. Whatever slight misdeeds I have done with a deluded mind, because you are the refuge of beings, may you, the protector, forgive all of that. Not found, not fully known, and whatever I was unable to do, whatever actions were done here, may the lord forgive all of that. Until the mandala and the supports are accomplished, and for a permanent and stable dwelling. Om, you accomplish all the benefits of sentient beings, grant the corresponding accomplishments. Even after going to the Buddha's land, please come again. Or: Please grant me the supreme accomplishment, grant the fruits of all samadhi, and grant the supreme accomplishment to all sentient beings according to their wishes. For the sake of returning again, return to your own place, Vajra Muh! (Tibetan: བཛྲ་མུཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र मुः, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra muḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Diamond Muh!) Thus, the guests of the torma are dismissed. Also, some of the former superiors did not dismiss the oath-bound ones.
