It is called offering Torma. In later practices, the root Torma offering and the commissioned Torma offering are mostly not separated. However, in some cases of sudden commissioned Torma, it may be permissible to do so. If the root Torma is accomplished first, it is powerful and auspicious for any activity. If there is time, it is best to do them separately. Second, regarding combining with activities, there are two things to do before combining with activities, and four things to do in the actual combination of activities.
