Secondly, the complete isolation of speech includes the actual practice of speech isolation and the incidental practice of removing obstacles. The first part includes: training in the coarse, tangible wind, training in the subtle, tangible wind, training in the clear wind mixed with consciousness, and the forceful vajra recitation associated with vase breathing, in four parts. The first part is: after completing the preliminary practices such as refuge and generating bodhicitta, the body is in accordance with the general seven-point posture of Vairochana. Visualize your own body as Vajradhara in a solitary place, the inside of the body is empty and hollow, the three channels, four chakras, and all the channels are empty. After performing several expulsions of impure air, in the actual vajra recitation, visualize the three states of arising, entering, and abiding of the wind as the sound of the three syllables (ཨོཾ,唵,oṃ,Om; ཨཱཿ,阿,āḥ,Ah; ཧཱུྃ,吽,hūṃ,Hum), through knowing that the wind and mantra are inseparable, inhale with the syllable Om (ཨོཾ,唵,oṃ,Om), visualize that from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet and toes, the outer body and all the inner channels are like a seamless leather bag, filled with air, and the air enters and reaches below the throat, beginning to abide. Then deliberately hold your breath for a little while, longer than the exhalation and inhalation. At this time, remember the syllable Ah (ཨཱཿ,阿,āḥ,Ah), and slightly merge the upper and lower winds. Exhale with the syllable Hum (ཧཱུྃ,吽,hūṃ,Hum), visualize that the outer body and all the inner channels are empty and clear. The air goes out from above the throat, beginning the exhalation. If the flow of air is not clear, slightly block the nostrils with soft cotton, so that the flow will be clear. The Black Practitioner of Bodh Gaya and scholars with clairvoyance believe that one should hold the vase breathing as much as possible during this abiding stage. Other scholars, such as the assembled nuns, believe that just as an egg naturally breaks after it matures, through the habit of vajra recitation, the wind will naturally stop, thus becoming vase breathing. The second part includes: training in the profound bliss wind, training in the four protector winds, and training in the four wisdom goddess winds. The first part is: visualize your own body as before, visualize the essence of the wind as like a ray of light, inserted like an oiled vajra tip, extending straight up from the central channel of the body, like a stretched thread.
