Indeed. It is impossible for the innate body to be severed, and what arises after severance is newly produced, as it cannot be regarded as innate. The meaning of what is said to be absorbed in between is that at that time the impure body is actually absorbed, and although the co-emergent innate body does not cease, the previously certain body and form, etc., become extremely moist due to the co-emergence, and from a certain thing it transforms into pervading space. Therefore, it is said that the body dissolves into luminosity, and at that time the practitioner himself is also invisible. The body of union is that, without moving from that state of pervading space, it manifests infinite adornments that appear as if they were certain. Because the luminosity of the mind's essence and the illusory body of pure body abide as one, it is called union. From the practitioner himself is the root of things and body, and from there, through the gate of infinite manifestations, he performs the benefit of sentient beings, perfects the two accumulations, traverses the ten or twelve bhumis, and relies on the proximate cause of manifest enlightenment to manifest the non-learning union. Thus, it is also said in the Five Stages: "The nature of wind gradually, enters the nature of mantra. Having realized the object of mantra, one should learn the vajra recitation. The yogi who dwells in the place of vajra recitation, will attain the object of mind. The samadhi like illusion abides, and is purified by the true limit. Having arisen from the true limit, one will attain non-duality wisdom. Abiding in the samadhi of union, one will no longer learn in any field. This is the perfect yogi, and also the great vajra holder. Possessing all kinds of excellence, from that he will become omniscient." Thus it is said. The remaining meaning is that the rituals and various actions of fire offerings and other activities, as well as the multitude of pacifying, increasing, and other activities, are also accomplished by the generation stage practitioner through the gate of consciousness, and by the completion stage practitioner through the gate of wisdom. As it is said: "In the Five Stages, fire and wind and great power, and water, each in their respective mandalas, in half-half times of day and night, activities abide two by two." This is the meaning of that. Fourth, identifying the signs of the path of wisdom, with a brief explanation of both the teachings and commentaries:

The reality of signs appearing in sequence, the experience of the five wisdoms in common, in the midst of blazing clarity. Thus, the signs of the path are speech silence and mind silence, the reality of the signs appearing in the order of the illusory body and clear light, that is, the essence is the experience of the five wisdoms and the commonality inherent in the continuum, such as mirages are the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, smoke is like a mirror, fireflies are discriminating awareness, lamps are accomplishing activities, and cloudless sky is equanimity. Also, the four, such as mirages, are accomplishing activities, white path is like ice, red path is discriminating awareness, black path is equanimity, and dawn is like the Dharmadhatu. Thus, all the clear light of the child appears in the state of blazing Tummo in the central channel of the body. In the extensive explanation, the commonality of all above and below, the experience of the order of the illusory body, clear light, speech silence, mind silence, and union, there are six. The first is, "From the limbs, one obtains direct perception from the winds." That is, the eye consciousness and so on act together, and the winds of the limbs, such as walking, dissolve into the central channel. From this, the direct perceptions of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body are obtained. Moreover, one must also know the signs of the dissolution of the five elements and the five root winds. The second is, "The aggregates of thoughts gradually diminish, and the essence of wisdom also increases. The stages of wisdom are found from within oneself. One does not fixate on one or many." That is, the aggregates of thoughts are the eighty natures. The essence of wisdom is bliss and emptiness. Also, in meditative equipoise, the thirty-two of increase and decrease cease. Small bliss and emptiness is appearance. On top of that, the forty of attachment thoughts cease. Medium bliss and emptiness is increase. On top of that, the seven of delusion thoughts cease, and it is obtained by enjoying great bliss and emptiness. The order of these three wisdoms is found at the time when the channels, winds, drops, and wisdom of one's own body dissolve into wisdom, that is, the ordinary channels and winds dissolve into the central channel, the one hundred and twenty of the seventy-two channels and four wheels dissolve, and the inner winds of the channels and wheels dissolve. The stages of appearance, increase, and attainment arise, and the essence of all those grounds of the three wisdoms is the special melting bliss that can represent the nature of reality.
