Just by focusing on reciting the Vajra mantra, those activities will be accomplished. Accomplishments can also be achieved through wind, such as reviving corpses; through fire, such as sending and employing; through water, such as extracting essence and attaining immortality; and through earth, such as obtaining treasures and Yaksha women. These four activities can be accomplished by completing each mandala only once, and various accomplishments can be achieved in just one or two days or about a week. For the collection of activities, it is actually applied in this way. According to the tantras, the power of accumulating merit is: by diligently offering to the wisdom deity, oneself will be offered to by the beings of the three realms; by diligently reciting, the faults of body, speech, and mind can be completely eliminated; by diligently offering fire pujas, one can obtain numerous qualities of wealth and possess miraculous powers; by diligently meditating on the deity's form, emptiness, and great bliss, one can attain supreme liberation. Although some explain that this verse is used for inner secret meanings,

The suchness of mantra is clear. With the distinctions of the three wisdoms, It is definitely combined with mind-only. This stage of speech solitude is, It is to accomplish the wisdom of speech vajra, which is encompassed by the path. This stage of the path is also the suchness of mantra among the five suchnesses, and it is also the ultimate of clear wisdom. Relying on this, one will attain the grounds of the distinctions of the three wisdoms of appearance, increase, and attainment. The mind is only clear and pure, only the grossest defilements are purified. It must be combined with the stage of mind solitude, which abandons the defilements of the eighty self-natures of conceptual thought. This is the meaning of definitely arriving. In general, although there are many different boundaries for establishing body, speech, and mind vajras as encompassed by the path, it is not entirely certain. Body solitude is body vajra, speech solitude is speech vajra, and mind solitude is the yoga of mind vajra. This is the distinction made by the three modes of the causal completion stage. Third, explaining the difference of the vessel: One who despises the guru, is deceitful, and has no faith. One who boasts of mantras and is filled with seeing texts, To one who has no faith and has inferior empowerment, The stages of speech should not be spoken to him. Whoever has respect and faith in the guru, Always strives with devotion to serve and honor. To the excellent disciple who holds what he has heard, One need not examine the guru's kindness. If one falls from the peak of the mountain king, Even if one thinks one will not fall, one will fall. If one obtains the benefit of the guru's kindness, Even if one thinks one will not be liberated, one will be liberated. In some examples, it says: The excellent guru who holds what he has heard. That is to say, for those of the lineage who will despise the guru, and those who cannot be trusted with great deceit, and those who lack trust due to lack of faith in the Dharma, and some who boast of being mantra practitioners, boasting greatly because they know a little about mantra rituals and so on, and those who have not received instructions from an excellent guru, but think they know the meaning just by seeing the texts and are filled with pride, and those who have no faith in the guru and have inferior empowerment, that is, those who have not received empowerment at all, or those who have only received empowerment but have not received the four complete empowerments of inner tantra, or even if they have only received empowerment through rituals, but the wisdom of

Those three that have not entered the blessing are those. In some versions, it says, "stingy offering," which means not pleasing the guru with wealth and respect. Therefore, do not even speak of the stages of Vajra recitation to the son, not even the words of the five stages. Furthermore, whoever is respectful to the guru and possesses faith in the Dharma, constantly strives to serve and make offerings out of devotion to the guru, and hears and upholds the scriptures and oral instructions of the Buddha's teachings, that is a supreme disciple. It is sufficient to bestow upon him the kindness of the guru's oral instructions. There is no need to examine whether to give oral instructions or not. As it says, "The holy guru," the holy one should bestow the kindness of the guru's oral instructions upon the one who hears and upholds. It should be said like that. So, what is the reason for needing to obtain the guru's permission? For example, if someone falls from the top of a high mountain, even if you want to prevent him from falling to the ground, he will still fall to the ground. The kindness of the holy guru benefits the disciple, that is, after obtaining permission for the oral instructions that have entered the blessing, even if you want to prevent him from being liberated, there is no doubt that he will be liberated at the appropriate time. Conversely, if one possesses discipline, has heard much, understands the classification of stages, and has also seen the practice of oral instructions, but has not entered the guru's blessing, even if one strives to meditate with a strong desire for liberation, one will not be liberated. This is what this passage says. Therefore, pleasing the holy guru is the root of generating the wisdom of all stages. The stages of Vajra recitation are the first stage composed by Acharya Nagarjuna. In this treatise, the complete quiescence of speech is explained very extensively. And, the distinction of the three wisdoms, must be combined with Mind-Only. Previously, some mind was mentioned in passing completely quiescent, and as a supplementary meaning that must be accomplished through Vajra recitation, illusory body, clear light, and union were mentioned briefly. Because everything is related to Vajra recitation, it is called the stages of Vajra recitation. Now, we will begin to explain the treatise of the second stage, called the time of Supreme Intent.
