When the life-sustaining "A" meets the "A" of the throat, it becomes twice as long and is called "Āḥ (ཨཱཿ)." Adding the downward-moving "Ha" to it makes it a strong word, which is the symbolic meaning of the letter "A." Meditating on "Āḥ (ཨཱཿ)" in the throat also refers to this, meaning to bind in the center of the throat. "Ha" is the name of the downward-moving wind, located in the center of the anus for excretion. The letter "Ū (ཨཱུ)" is the upward-moving wind, located in the center of the lotus of the throat. The letter "Ma (མ)" is the life wind, located in the forehead chakra. When these are united, they are located in the heart and are called the seed of the heart. This is the collection of the letter "Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ)," with the downward-moving wind "Ha" as a symbol, and the long sound of the throat wind "Ū" as a symbol, both gathered together. The life wind is mixed with the indestructible bindu of the crown and heart, and the bindu, the shape of the skull, etc., are represented by various symbols. The wind and bindu from below the forehead to above the anus gather in the navel and dissolve into the heart, which is the symbolic meaning of placing the letter "Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ)" in the heart. For example, in the Sanskrit expression, the letter "A" seeing the opposite letter "U" becomes "O (ཨོ)," and the opposite letter "U" is eliminated, and the two letters "A" are the same and similar, the former becomes long and the latter is eliminated. The letter "Ha" is lifeless and is placed above the long sound "Ū," and the letter "Ma" is lifeless and then a nasal sound is produced, and the final letter "Ha" is lifeless, but it also becomes a cutoff sound. Taking this as an example, the meaning is to make the three winds of life, upward-moving, and downward-moving, and the two bindus of the crown and heart, into one taste. If explained in this way, the power of the crown bindu can also elevate the pervasive wind, and the power of the downward-moving wind of the anus can also be understood as equal to the navel fire. During the upward-moving wind, the red part of the throat's inner heat is also shown, so from its power, the navel's inner heat must also be understood. In this case, regarding the way of combining these three seed syllables with the winds, even the greatest masters of India and Tibet have various ways of explaining it, but it must be explained according to the perspective of the noble ones. When the wind enters, touching the "Haṃ (ཧཾ)" of the crown, the part of bliss strives downward, and then the clear part of the power of the throat's fire wind, and the emptiness and non-conceptualization of the heart.

And the meditation of the method of merging into one. When abiding, the clarity arises from the power of the fierce fire at the throat and navel. And merging with the downward-cleansing fierce fire, the bliss of contracting the previously descended bindu. And being controlled by the indestructible nature of the heart, non-conceptuality becomes the main thing. This is how the samadhi of the abiding wind arises. When going out, the clarity accompanied by the burning downward-cleansing fierce fire merges with the fierce fire of the throat, becomes powerful, and rises upward with a slight melting bliss. And the meaning of the arising of wisdom adorned in various ways by the non-conceptuality arising from the indestructible nature of the heart. This is the samadhi arising from the outgoing wind. Thus, when Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) comes in, the bliss aspect is the main thing. When Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊) abides, non-conceptuality is the main thing. When Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) goes out, the clarity aspect is the main thing. The symbolic meaning of the collection of the three-syllable mantra is like that. If the wisdom of speech isolation arises in the continuum, it will appear like that. In general, the main one of the three vajras is the mind vajra. Therefore, in the Kalachakra and other scriptures, the seed syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) of the mind is connected to the place where it abides, and the direct indication of the rosary also agrees with that. However, in this scripture and many others, the syllable Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊) is connected to the place where it abides and is made the main thing for recitation. This is because, in general, although the mind is the main thing, in the context of purifying speech, it is intended that speech is the main thing. In general, the name "vajra recitation" is established as a specific name from a general name. It is mostly known to those who are real among the yogis who use the arising, dissolving, and abiding equally without obstructing them with strong wind power. That is just a reputation. If there is no connection with the inner reality, then even if the arising, dissolving, and abiding are equal, it will not become vajra recitation. If one meditates in the way of using the above-mentioned inner reality as the path, then whether one meditates on vase-like, dust-end-like, filling-like, or stiff-like wind yoga, it is vajra recitation. Because one knows that reality, even the wind that abides in the conduct between sessions is vajra recitation. Why are those not? Therefore, all wind yogas are vajra recitation. The vajra recitation mentioned in this scripture is also only this, and it is also common with the generation stage, the practice of purifying the channels.
