Although one might think, "Is it so?", this is merely conjecture. In general, there are very many cases where transcending the stages does not become a fault, and moreover, it is absolutely necessary for the present individual to transcend the stages. Third, the classification: In the Later Tantra, it says, "That nature is explained as fivefold, secrets are explained as threefold, the supreme deity is the great secret, the noble family is a hundredfold." Following this, there are the body isolations of the hundred noble families, the body isolations of the fivefold thatness, the body isolations of the threefold secrets, and the body isolation of the one great secret. First, in the Root Tantra, it says, "In short, the five aggregates are proclaimed as the five Buddhas." Therefore, the five aggregates are contemplated as the five Buddha families, and each of them is further divided into five Buddha families, thus there are twenty-five Buddhas. Earth is called Caks.usmati. The element of water is Mamaki It is proclaimed as white and lamp-mother. Fire and wind." Therefore, the four elements are purified as the four mothers, and within them, there is a division of five Buddha families each, thus there are twenty mothers. Even the Vajra birth-source is pure, it is the supreme mandala of the Bodhisattvas. Therefore, the six sense-sources are the six Bodhisattvas, and each of them is divided into five families, thus there are thirty, but the five of Manjusri of the mind are set aside, thus there are twenty-five Bodhisattvas. Forms, sounds, etc., the mantra practitioner always contemplates as deities. Therefore, the five objects of form, etc., the five mothers, are the pure aspect of the five Vajra mothers, and each of them is divided into five families, thus there are twenty-five goddesses. Thus, there are ninety-five objects to be pervaded, and there are five pervading wisdoms. Combining the five Manjusris into one, there is one set of five, totaling one hundred. This is the explanation of the condensed practice. In some places, the five Manjusris are not counted, but the five Vajradhatu Isvari mothers are added. These are all considered to be within the category of the hundred peaceful families. This is also done by counting according to the number of one hundred. In general, for the kot.i families, the number is uncountable. As it is said, it is not definite. The wrathful deities, wrathful mothers, messengers, and servants are all emanations of the peaceful deities, therefore it is thought that they are included here and not explained. Otherwise, their body isolations would also be immeasurable. The classification of the hundred aggregates and elements.

and the methods of generating the deities of the hundred families have already been explained in the guidance manual of the Ngok tradition. Having trained the essence of the meaning, the aggregates of form into emptiness, and then with the intention of meditating on its nature as Vairochana, having sent forth such preparation beforehand, by remaining in equipoise in bliss and emptiness, when arising from that, the five families of Vairochana arise. This is solely the body isolation of equipoise. The subsequent conduct of the initial stage is to perform mental cultivation similar to the generation stage. After gaining stability in this, from the same state of equipoise as before, cultivate the body isolation of the subsequent attainment. Having made the deity image of the body isolation not disappear, place it on a single object like an image, and mix it with that appearance. Expand it with bliss. Again, expand it with emptiness, and by meditating in this way, the impure appearance will cease, and the form of the deity of body isolation together with its retinue will appear. If one becomes very familiar with this, it will also become an aid to increasing bliss internally. Similarly, apply it to everything, and it can change from the hundred families, to many different kinds of families, and even from the hundred families themselves, to limitless deities. The method of meditating on the hundred families is like that. If there is no better method of cultivation than this for the latter ones, then after becoming familiar with the hundred families, from the five families to one, there is no need to learn separately, but one will become familiar with it incidentally. However, because there are other methods of cultivation, it is said that those are to be cultivated later. The second is, similar to the previous other generation stages, but one must know that each of those deities must have the expansion of the five families. From the aspect of appearance, it is the body vajra; from the aspect of sound, it is the speech vajra; from the aspect of emptiness, it is the mind vajra; from the aspect of bliss, it is the quality vajra; from the aspect of compassion entering into sentient beings who have not realized, it is the action vajra. Through faith and understanding, by expanding all the deities, thereby, the clear images of each of them will appear. In this way, without the discrimination of conceptual thought, naturally, the previous deities will become subtle and numerous. The third is, for that which has thus become manifest, one should also perform the expansion of body, speech, and mind, that is, the five wisdoms of the five Buddha families, each of which regards their respective appearances as body, regards the appearance itself as being experienced by awareness as speech, and regards its nature as inexpressible and non-conceptual.
