There are also two nostrils and two lower gates. The four nasal tips are: the nasal tip of the secret place, the nasal tip of the navel, the nasal tip of the heart, and the nasal tip of the face, totaling four. Furthermore, regarding the various views on mantras such as attachment, aversion, and ignorance, although there are various views, whether one meditates on seed syllables or name mantras, the purpose is the same. Therefore, it is sufficient to practice according to one's own instructions, and there is no need for refutation or affirmation. Here, in the classification of stages, the meaning of making a slight determination regarding the doubt of establishing deities on the body is: it is contradictory to establish deities on an impure body, and this doubt is raised. Regarding this question, just as the nature of copper is the same, when it is made into a vessel for washing, it cannot be made into a vessel for food, nor can it be prostrated to. When it is made into a vessel for food, it cannot be washed, nor can it be prostrated to. When it is used to sculpt an image of a deity, the former two are not done, but prostrations are made. Similarly, the nature of body, speech, and mind, when associated with the state of samsara, appears as evil to sentient beings; in a state where samsara is slightly purified, it appears as the Dharma of the path to noble beings; in a state where samsara is completely abandoned, it appears as the wisdom of the result or Dharma nature to Buddhas. However, Dharma nature itself has no good or bad, just as the nature of copper in the three states has no difference. The meaning of answering in this way is: regarding the impure body, if one thinks that there is a real thing, and then invites a pure Buddha unrelated to it from another place to reside within it, then it is true that thinking in this way is unreasonable. However, in reality, it is only revealing the nature or Dharma nature of this ordinary body itself, in which Buddhahood has always resided. Therefore, the Buddha has always resided in the body, and is not invited from within impurity, so there is no fault. Moreover, the impure body is not actually established, but is established by the discriminating thoughts that cling to it as impure. This is like using copper for washing; although it is made into a vessel for washing, the nature of copper does not become impure. Similarly, impure samsara is not established from its own side, so there is no basis for the fault of disrespect towards the deity. So, how is the Dharma nature with defilements purified later? For example, gold...

It is like an example where the black impurities of copper and iron are cleansed by the elixir of alchemy, and the clear color of the nature of copper and iron becomes manifest, which is then called becoming gold. Similarly, when the originally perfect and complete nature becomes manifest, it is called attaining Buddhahood. As it is said in the Intentional Distinction Sutra: "These aggregates are the Buddha, perfect Bodhi is the cause, non-duality enters the Thus-gone One, and that is also called the Thus-gone One." This explains that the Dharma nature of the aggregates is the Buddha. Through the cause of practicing the path, it becomes manifest, and it is called attaining perfect Bodhi. The manifestation itself is not a newly established quality of the path, but rather the grasping and the grasped of Samsara are originally non-existent. By realizing the non-existence, one enters into the reality of Suchness, which is the method of manifesting the Thus-gone One. Starting from "When the mandala of the body is complete," it is Maha Yoga. Among them, "The moon mandala is completely perfect" and so on are the blessings of the body Vajra, "The letter A is red and radiant" and so on are the blessings of the speech Vajra, "With mantra, the sun in the heart" and so on are the blessings of the mind Vajra, and "After blessing each separately" and so on are the common blessings of the three Vajras. Like this, from "After self-blessing" and so on, is the practice of visualizing the three-tiered deity. In this treatise, the details of the crown are not clearly stated here because when visualizing the supreme king of the mandala below, there is an empowerment by the lineage lord. Considering that after visualizing the supreme king, there is no need for empowerment again. If one does not visualize the supreme king of the mandala, like the Four Stages Yoga, the crown is definitely necessary, because the root Tantra also says: "Possessing all excellent aspects, the nature of self, body, speech, and mind Vajra, wisdom and Samaya in the heart, and the supreme Vajradhara of the crown, making all Buddhas rejoice, this is the supreme Samaya, accomplishing all Siddhis, acting with the supreme Samaya." It is said like this. And in the current practice, it is to visualize the supreme king of the mandala.
