If one practices in this way, then in dream omens, signs of approaching supreme accomplishment will appear. The fifteenth chapter of the Root Tantra is quoted, which speaks of the eight subtle virtues. So, according to which situation is this practice spoken of? Some say it is according to union. If one has attained union, one still has to cultivate and abide in these eight subtle virtues, and to place faith in the result based on dream omens is utterly ridiculous. Supreme accomplishment is union itself, so this statement is highly unreasonable. Others say that obtaining the eight subtle virtues is the union of learning, so its practice is also at the stage of the clear light sequence. This is because they have not understood that the union of learning is explained as the meaning of the non-dual wisdom body, and they also commit the various errors mentioned earlier. Some say that the great seal achievers consider supreme accomplishment to be only the perfectly enlightened Buddha. Then, is the body of the union of learning a common accomplishment? Or is it not an accomplishment? If the former, then with whom in the world is it common? If the latter, then obtaining the union of learning is not obtaining accomplishment, so it will be difficult to find the standard of an accomplished one. These should also be understood. Therefore, here, in a supplementary way, it is mainly aimed at the generation stage practitioners and some who abide in the illusory body stage. The result of the generation stage practice is the two vidyadharas of the desire and form realms, which are truly endowed with the eight subtle virtues. It is also reasonable for a person abiding in the generation stage to generate certainty from dream omens. These two accomplishments are also signs of approaching supreme accomplishment, because having obtained them, it is easier to accomplish supreme accomplishment as well. Even if one does not engage in practice immediately after obtaining the illusory body, it will not cause the illusory body stage to fail to reach its ultimate conclusion. However, when transitioning from the illusory body stage to the clear light stage, practice is definitely necessary. After that, it is also indispensable when practicing union. Such a person, if they have not engaged in practice during the illusory body stage, but start practicing from the practice of the clear light stage, then only when the path of seeing is attained, will the body of fruition be transformed into a wisdom body. Apart from that, it will not be transformed into a vidyadhara's body before that. Immediately after obtaining the illusory body, one should continuously practice.

If practiced in this way, along with the completion of the illusory body stage, one will also transform into a body endowed with the eight qualities of subtlety and lightness. This state of abiding in the illusory body stage is suitable for transforming into a state of possessing the eight qualities because it possesses the coarse body of maturation. If attained, it is also a good attainment. Because of further meditating on the dream illusory body, it is also reasonable for dream omens to appear. This is because, relying on the completion stage, by diligently practicing the supreme Dharma, one attains common accomplishments incidentally. After that, by practicing luminosity, the body of the worldly vidyadhara will also transform and become the union body. Likewise, as the venerable one said, "Even without some differences in accomplishment and diligence, the other body will surely be transformed because of the innate co-emergence." Then, isn't it said in the Later Tantra, "Accomplishments such as invisibility are said to be ordinary people. The Buddha who has attained Buddhahood, the Buddha, said it is the supreme accomplishment." If one thinks, how can it be the supreme accomplishment of the union of learning? The Buddha himself and the one with eight powers must be understood as the general term for the union of learning and above. The eight qualities mentioned here are: "Subtle form and touch, pervasive and truly attained itself, extremely bright itself manifested, freedom itself and transformation at will." That is to say, later people, based on the commentary on the Lamp of Wisdom, the explanation made by Avalokiteshvara's ascetic practice, consider that what arises and ceases in the sentient world is subtle, what arises and ceases in the vessel world is light, and what arises and ceases in both is the master, that is, truly attained. It is said that those yogis are able to transform and gather. What goes wherever one wants is pervasive. Because of immeasurable splendor, overwhelming others, and being offered by all beings, it is extremely bright. Being able to obtain what one wants to obtain is abiding in joy, that is, stable. Having the power to cut off and inherit is freedom. Transforming merits at will is having at will, that is, having at will. The other explanations of the predecessors are not this commentary...
