In this non-learning union, although there is no distinction of actual cause and effect, it is the wisdom that dwells as the cause in the immeasurable mandalas of the Buddhas, and it is the ultimate clear light of the fruit. Through the door of similar characteristics, from the wisdom of the stages of clear light, the Tathagata of the non-learning union arises, and because the abandonment and realization do not diminish, it is called Vajra, or the wisdom of directly realizing Vajra emptiness, and it is the object of practice only for the supreme Mahayana noble ones, therefore it is unsurpassed. This has also been taught. Because it has been present from the beginning, it is without beginning, and because it never perishes, it is without end. When will the great bliss of peace, which has never experienced suffering, be realized? Then it will completely purify the seeds of all afflictions, and by appearance it will purify the body of samsara, by increase it will purify the speech of samsara, and by attainment it will purify the mind of samsara, and ultimately one desires to attain the great bliss mentioned above. That is to say, from the time when the three appearances of the path arise, it is the beginning of purifying the three doors of samsara, but the three appearances of the application of the path of seeing are said to actually purify them. At the time of the three appearances, it is the application of abandoning in parts, and in the first moment when the clear light of meaning arises, the power of the three appearances merges into the clear light, which is the time of abandoning them, and in the second moment they are already abandoned. These three verses of supplication show the important characteristics of the stages of clear light, but all the previous abbots of the noble assembly have turned them into guru yoga and regarded them as insignificant. Here, the essence of their meaning is extracted and explained. The term "all afflictions" generally refers to the controlling afflictions that are not specifically abandoned, and those that designate the imprints of bad destinies as afflictions, but otherwise all the afflictions of the three realms are included, so the root afflictions, near afflictions, etc. are all included, but the phenomena that arise from these Dharma categories, as previously taught, are the sixty natures or the one hundred and eight natures. Thus, up to this point, in the Compendium of Practices, it is taught in a different order, such as Supreme Giving Vajra, etc.

Prayers were made with praises and direct realization of enlightenment, etc. Having made the nine empowerments go before, the secret empowerment was conferred. Although the praises and prayers that appear in the Compendium of Practices are for the meaning of the instructions on luminosity, they are not a branch of the higher empowerment, because it is said that prayers are offered before the practice of the mandala. Therefore, according to the intention of the Compendium of Practices, it is also evident that this can be compared to the empowerment of the illusory body, and here the words and order of the empowerment rituals of the Five Stages and the Compendium of Practices are different, I wonder why. Secondly, explaining the actual instructions on the actual luminosity, there are: the way of introducing based on direct realization and enlightenment, explaining the nature of emptiness of all things, the greatness of the individual who abides in this stage, identifying the two yogas of the practice of luminosity, showing the measure of stability attained in this stage, the way the spontaneously arisen union body appears, and showing the practice of the stages of luminosity, which are seven in total. The first is: Thus, the qualities are truly perfect, By speaking, the yogi is pleased. Compassion is generated for the disciple, Then this stage itself is composed. The part of the night that appears is luminosity, the rays of the sun radiate, and the appearance spreads. The interval is the attainment of appearance, and one does not go without one's own nature even once. Not night, not day, not interval, whatever is completely separated from all natures. That is enlightenment in an instant, the supreme lama speaks, the yogi himself is the object. The end of the interval is indestructible, the collection of darkness Is completely gone to where, As long as the sun has not risen, this instant is said to be the stainless, true end. The supreme teacher, free from dimness, shows the outer enlightenment to the disciple. The inner bliss, free from impurity, is attained by the Buddhas and enlightenment in an instant. Thus, it is not that the disciple makes superficial praises and biases, but that the teacher is endowed with supreme qualities, and knowing that he is endowed with them, from the depths of his heart, with respectful praises, makes the teacher endowed with supreme yoga happy, and the teacher also generates great compassion for the disciple, and after making the prayer, from then on, he begins to write this practice instruction of the stages of luminosity.
