I prostrate to Vajrasattva, who has realized the wisdom of clear light, emptiness of all things, and teaches it to others! Thus praising, I vow to explain the fourth stage, the stage of manifest enlightenment. This is also a praise and vow that is in accordance with the meaning of the scripture, this scripture expounds the emptiness of all clear light, and the Vajra Master also praises greatness by showing the path of clear light, and makes prostrations. The wisdom of emptiness of all things and manifest enlightenment is mainly placed in the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas of non-learning union, and in the union of learning, it is also placed in the Samadhi, one of the characteristics of the union. The wisdom of great bliss of the mind is also the wisdom of clear light, emptiness of all things, and manifest enlightenment. However, the fourth stage of manifest enlightenment must only refer to the stage of clear light, so it only refers to the stage after the completion of the illusory body and before obtaining the union. That is, the illusory body of the completed stage of the illusory body, from the beginning of refining with the wisdom of clear light like fire, until finally at the time of the path of seeing, the body of the illusory body is completely purified by the true clear light. Therefore, the description of the stages that occurred in the meantime is explained here, and the other previous and subsequent stages will also be briefly explained. At the time of praise, the Lama must be regarded as Vajradhara, so it should not be said that the Lama is in the state of this stage, but it should be said that he is in the Dharmakaya of all Buddhas. However, for the disciple who is suitable for the occasion, because it is necessary to teach the Dharma that is suitable for him, for the person who has completed the illusory body, or the disciple who is close to obtaining the path of seeing, by teaching the oral instructions of the fourth stage, the greatness is praised temporarily. Derived from this, this is the self-born Bhagavan, the only self-great God, because he is good at giving all the oral instructions, so the Vajra Master is even more superior. That is, the mind of the Vajra Master is the Dharmakaya of all Buddhas.

Therefore, the lama is equal to all the Buddhas. The self-nature of clear light, the Dharmakaya, the great bliss of co-emergence, is the reality of all dharmas, the Dharma-nature that is primordially accomplished, and is self-arisen because it is not produced by causes and conditions. Because it is endowed with the complete qualities of the eight freedoms, it is the Bhagavan. That Dharmakaya is the Dharmadhatu, and in all of samsara and nirvana, there is no other state than this, so it is the only one. The unchanging wisdom of great bliss, the self-nature of all samsara and nirvana, abides as the life force of all knowable things and is the great deity because it possesses all aspects. However, in terms of conventional truth, not to mention each and every Buddha, the Vajra Master is even more superior to the disciple himself than the Dharmakaya, which is like space. This is because the master can give the instructions to establish one in unsurpassed enlightenment, while space alone does not give instructions. Thus, depending on the way of thinking of the practitioner, the establishment of whether the Buddhas and the lama are the same or different is made. The actual teaching of the text is divided into two: the extensive explanation of the stages of clear light and the identification of the clear light of ultimate meaning. The first is divided into three: showing the activity of the preliminary empowerment, the actual teaching of the instructions on clear light, and the subsequent generation of bodhicitta and offering. The first is inferred because it has been explained in the context of the stage of the illusory body. This is also called guidance or phowa guidance because it causes unborn wisdom to arise, and it is a preliminary empowerment that introduces clear light as an indication, and it is not merely to ripen the unripe and increase the ripened. This can also be divided into the empowerment of receiving the instructions on clear light for the first time after the completion of the illusory body, and the empowerment of actually manifesting enlightenment at the entrance to the stage of clear light. However, because the form of the ritual is the same, the two stages of the ritual, before and after, are not mentioned. When a subtle experience arises in the completion stage, the form of this empowerment can also be used as a path for the purpose of giving the instructions on clear light. By this, a special auspicious connection can also be established, so it should only be practiced, as explained in the third stage.
