One should strive to offer oneself from all places. In the case of activity, the recitation of mantras, mudras and the responses of mudras, etc., the assembly hall, the actually constructed mandala, and the conceptualizations such as the mandala meditated upon by the mind, outer and inner fire offerings, tormas, and all offerings, should always be meditated upon as being like illusions. Similarly, relying on the samadhi of conduct, for the taming of other sentient beings through peaceful actions is peace, and others are enriching, and similarly there are powerful actions of subjugation and direct action, and whatever, such as summoning, is done through all those means to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings, it should be practiced like a rainbow. Entering into the attire of the deity, etc., adorned with various clothes and ornaments, with graceful postures, etc., being charming and attractive, enjoying the five desirable qualities, and engaging in songs and music, etc., for the sake of offering, and the manner of holding dances and weapons, and sexual practices, etc., one should also be well-versed in various magical arts, and meditate on them as being like water moons. In particular, the five external desirable qualities of near use, and the five internal desirable qualities of the awareness consort, namely, form, sound, and similarly smell, taste, and touch, these five objects themselves, the five senses such as the eye enter into them, and when experiencing the bliss of desirable qualities, one should closely examine and meditate on them as being like illusions. Here, it is said to meditate on illusions as being like rainbows, water moons, etc., the common meaning is to know that appearances are without inherent existence, and the uncommon meaning is to mix that appearance with the appearance of the mandala of wind and mind, so that they are transformed into the appearance of wisdom and dissolve into it, this is the meaning of what should be practiced. Third, the measure of the completion of the stages of the illusory body is, in the Vajrayana itself: Here, what need is there to say much? Whatever a yogi focuses on, he should regard it as being like an illusion. Like the reflection in a mirror, dreams, illusions, bubbles, who sees them as being the same as eye disease? That person is said to be the chief. Seeing and touching, going like an illusion, the conventional truth without object.
