By its power, the coarse and subtle bodies, the coarse connection of having to depend on each other, is severed, appearing like fragments. During the stages of dissolution, through the power of great bliss, the clear body transforms into strength, and limitless images are accomplished, primarily based on the deity's form as previously accustomed. This third stage of the illusory body, its own time is in accordance with the Sambhogakaya, and especially as the unique cause of the yuganaddha body of learning, it is also called Sambhogakaya. If any yogi, at the time of death, when the mind is utterly secluded and clear light arises, this body arises as a substitute for the bardo, thus the bardo does not occur. If this body is accomplished during one's lifetime, then it can avert the karma and habitual tendencies of the bardo, and one obtains the certainty of not being born in the bardo. Therefore, this is also the supreme path for purifying the bardo. The epithet of Vajradhara is also called Mahasukha. The reason for this is that from the great bliss of the path, various pure appearances arise, and these various appearances do not transcend the nature of bliss. Therefore, bliss is pervasive to pure appearances, and the Sambhogakaya Vajrasattva is also pervasive to all Nirmanakayas, and bliss is the Sambhogakaya and appearance is the Nirmanakaya, and this is also the reason for using them as the path, hence the name. Therefore, although the illusory body is not separate from bliss and pure appearances, from the aspect of its essence being bliss, it is proclaimed as the samadhi of great bliss. Therefore, this illusory body of conventional truth is also the complete Sambhogakaya at the time of the path, and it is also the state of purifying the beings of the bardo, and it is also the small Vajra body, and it is also the deity body of the nature of Vajrasattva. This meaning is stated in the Compendium of Practice: Thus, the individual births of children become the cause of samsara called the intermediate state. Those who have obtained the oral instructions of all the Tathagatas through the lineage of the gurus, blessing oneself is like this, just as it appears in a wall or a painted mirror, by the very nature of the Vajra body, one emanates oneself, endowed with all excellent forms.

One never tires of beholding his body. Adorned with the thirty-two major marks of a great being, etc., on his body. In short, up to the point of being adorned with the qualities of all the Buddhas. Thus it is said. In the past, when wind-mind served as the cause of the intermediate state, and when the intermediate state of each of the six realms was accomplished, that intermediate state took the birth of each of the six realms and turned into samsara. That samsara and the wind-mind, the cause of the intermediate state, in accordance with the stages of the illusory body of the lama's instructions, great bliss and the deity's form are repeatedly meditated upon. Its function changes into something else, and it transforms into the deity's form of the illusory body. "One never tires of beholding his body," etc., shows the form of the deity, and "endowed with the supreme of all forms" also shows the forms of all of samsara and nirvana. "Like a reflection" also shows that it is free from the characteristics of the gross body. From familiarity with this, it transforms from the learning union to the non-learning union, and thus it is taught as the supreme path for actually attaining the enjoyment body. In the explicit teachings of these treatises on the Five Stages and the Condensed Practice, the characteristics of the ground and the path are explicitly taught. The connection between the ground and the path, or the way to train on the path in accordance with the ground, or the way to generate the path by focusing on the essential point of the ground, can also be called the method for attaining the illusory body. The instructions are also implicitly taught. That is, the explanation of the characteristics of the ground and the path is so that one can meditate in accordance with them. Although the instructions are implicit, they also become the main topic of these treatises. Also, "sentient being of the Gandharvas" mainly teaches the instructions on the illusory body of the intermediate state. The corresponding instructions on dream practice are also mentioned in passing. "Perfect enjoyment," "vajra body," and "Vajrasattva," etc., teach the instructions on the deity's form of appearance and emptiness in the equipoise illusion and the post-equipoise illusion. Also, some of the examples of explaining the globules, and the name "conventional truth is illusion," definitely teach to train on the deity's form and karmic appearances as unreal like illusions. The instructions on the clear light of deep sleep that precedes the two, the intermediate state and the dream, and the clear light of death, or...
