Therefore, if one does not obtain the mandala in which the bliss of wind and mind appears as all forms, merely meditating on appearances that are empty of truth will not lead to the realization of the ultimate reality as it is, because the meditation that accords with reality is not yet complete. For example, just as one cannot seize the kingdom with only swift battles if one lacks the power of merit and wisdom. The meaning of that is that reality has the characteristic of being complete with bliss, freedom from elaboration, and all forms. Therefore, this sequence of blessing me with the path that manifests those three through one wisdom is necessary. If one does not find that path, that is, if one has not found it, one should always meditate that it is like an illusion. Even if one strives to practice the Prajnaparamita Sutra, and the tantras that mainly teach the supreme accomplishment of secret mantra, or the Kriya tantras that mainly teach common practices and activities, that person will become weary and without purpose. Why is that? Because the bliss that represents reality has not manifested, and the characteristic of clarity is also not completely perfected. Then, what aspect of clarity is lacking? The vast mandala of pure wind and mind is lacking. The third is: "He who has obtained the sequence of blessings for himself, The main one is the nature of all Buddhas, In this very life, enlightenment, Without doubt, will be attained." This means that the person who has obtained the sequence of blessings for himself is the great Vajradhara, the main deity of the mandala, the nature of all Buddhas, because he is able to meditate on the state of Vajradhara as the result by way of making the cause similar to the path. Without going through other lives, in this very life alone, the state of complete enlightenment will be attained without doubt. Moreover, if the practitioner obtains this sequence in this life while alive, there is no need to take another rebirth, because the state of union will definitely be attained before the bardo. Furthermore, if one obtains the sequence of the illusory body and engages in conduct with diligence, before the sequence of death occurs, if the meaning-light dawns in the continuum, then this ripened body will also
