From (birth) until not destroyed by the antidote, the habitual tendencies of the mind operate continuously. Because habitual tendencies are continuous, conceptual thoughts are also continuous. Therefore, the three—karma, afflictions, and suffering—are also continuous, leading to countless rebirths, symbolizing until the endless end. In this endless time, various kinds of happiness and suffering are experienced alternately again and again. The ignorant lament, 'This is all the result of past karma, and now there is nothing that can be done.' Upon the nature of the mind, these various appearances such as samsara are without foundation or root. The awareness free from elaboration abides in the nature of the mind. The three appearances are also like the color of the sky appearing as a reflection in water; other than appearing, they do not exist separately from the reality. Therefore, if one recognizes its nature, one abides in freedom from elaboration. Due to confusion about conceptual thoughts, the extent of appearances, and the three appearances, one abides in mere nonexistent appearances. When one realizes its nature, who is wandering in samsara? Who will become liberated? These are not substantial, but merely appearances. Mind-only or just these three consciousnesses, from beginningless samsara, have been bound and deluded by karma and afflictions that are nonexistent appearances. When one fully understands the appearance of the guru's instructions, one will realize the meaning of the state of luminosity, bliss, and great bliss, which is the basis of neither bondage nor liberation. If one becomes well-accustomed to this, the habitual tendencies of karma that exist in the mind will also manifest, and by knowing that their nature is rootless, all karma, afflictions, and suffering will be pacified. By realizing suchness through the manner of the self-nature of the eighty natures and the three appearances, one will definitely be liberated from the prison of existence. How will one be liberated? Through the door of knowing the reality of the nature and appearances that exhaust, weary, and afflict beings. The reason for this is that knowing the reality of the mind itself is the one with true wisdom. Regarding 'discriminating the limit of karma,' the limit of karma is the exhaustion and abandonment of karma. That is also primordially unestablished by nature, that is, exhausted from the beginning. Realizing that state is discrimination.

If the realization that is separate from all elaborations arises in the mindstream, one will experience appearance and nature as being free from elaborations. Therefore, since all actions of the three doors are realized as being like illusions, the old actions of the past will not produce results, and all new actions done by the three doors will not throw one into samsara. For details, see the "Lamp of Condensed Conduct." Second, briefly mentioning the union of the two truths, there are six points: Explaining the purity of the generation stage through examples, thereby establishing the illusory body; showing the sequence of the illusory body entering into clear light; how the wisdom of blessing oneself arises; even if the path of the Paramita Vehicle is completely perfected, the addition of mantra is still necessary; showing that one who initially enters the mantra path does not rely on other paths; showing that clear light manifestation of enlightenment is the essence of all dharmas. The first point is: The nature of wisdom itself is contemplated as a mandala of the moon. One's own mind sees it, and oneself is like the reflection of the moon. Then, focusing on the moon, contemplate the vajra symbol. This is said to be the method of the yogi born from the vajra. The moon and the vajra are equally joined. Mind and mental factors are combined. From the combination of wisdom and means, the form of the deity will arise. Sealed with the four mudras, it explains the pride of the deity. Endowed with the generation stage, the mantra practitioner will always practice. As it is said in the glorious Guhyasamaja and others, as it is extensively explained there, as long as one engages in meditation, so long is one a beginner. That is to say, in order to clearly show some of the meanings of the above-mentioned "form of conventional clarity," these are explained. The nature of wisdom, mind, the wisdom of the first appearance, this is the generation stage practitioner meditating on the mandala of the moon as a symbol or method, or as a way to practice the path, for the purpose of accomplishing the deity's form. Later, in the stage of the completion stage, the wisdom of appearance is contemplated and practiced for the purpose of maturation. "One's own mind sees it" and so on, seems to rely on the tantric words that summarize its meaning, but it is not explained according to the yoga system, but must be explained here as follows: Generation
