Where one wishes to perform the gathering and dispersing of the navel chakra and the three places (eyebrow center, throat center, heart center), etc. For beginners, it is joyful to generate mind isolation and similar experiences. For speech isolation, from the stage of learning onwards, it is meaningful to generate wisdom that is in accordance with mind isolation. This very sequence of mind isolation is also meditated upon for the purpose of guiding experience. All those instructions, as well as the completion stages of the common generation stage, etc., whatever is meditated upon is fine, all of them are reasonable and excellent. This can be analogized to the instructions on illusory body, clear light, and union. For beginners, it generates realization that is in accordance with that and that. Even during the main practice, all those various instructions are permissible for guiding experience. However, generating the stages beyond mind isolation in one's own continuum is solely a clear appearance without conceptualization. Even the wisdom mudra is without conceptualization because the main practice appears as a clear appearance. From meditating on the bliss of action mudra and self-awareness, bliss increases, and the appearance of one's own continuum dissolves into bliss and clear light all at once, which is the completion stage. All outer and inner appearances gradually dissolve into bliss, which is the subsequent stage. The method for guiding mind isolation, vajra recitation, is definitely supreme. Vajra recitation is also as mentioned above. For beginners and the common artificial vajra recitation that is meditated upon, it is not the vajra recitation that actually accomplishes mind isolation. Secondly, regarding the supplementary topic, differentiating the limits of karma: Just as clouds are diverse, their colors and shapes are different, having arisen in the expanse of the sky, they dissolve right there. Similarly, all natures are the cause of the three realms, having entered into objects without remainder, they enter into clear light. Because they do not understand such a nature, they are covered by inauspicious darkness, having done virtuous and non-virtuous actions, they wander in the five realms. Having done the five heinous crimes, etc., they are tormented in the hells, etc. Having done virtuous deeds such as giving, they are revered in the pure realms such as the heavens. Countless thousands of births, here they are obtained again and again. This is called the ripening of past karma, by the ignorant ones.

Also makes sorrow. In the manner of self-nature's appearance, Whatever's arising is affliction, If one knows that, one is wise, From the prison of existence, one becomes liberated. Thus it is said. Nagarjuna says in the small treatise "Distinguishing the Extremes of Actions": Clouds, possessing the aspect of thunder, arise everywhere from within the sky. And so forth, these words also summarize the meaning. Moreover, just as clouds of various colors and shapes arise in the expanse of the sky, having arisen in that way, they dissolve back into it. Similarly, the various conceptualizations such as the eighty aspects of nature, which are like various clouds, although they arise initially, are caused by the three appearances that arise from the clear light, which is like the sky. That is, they arise from the three appearances. In the middle, the conceptualizations, like clouds of various shapes covering mountains and rivers, enter and enjoy all objects belonging to inner and outer things, and then, with the order of dissolution of the three appearances, they enter into the expanse of clear light from which they first arose. The nature of clear light and its appearances, the three appearances, is blissful, clear, and without conceptualization. If one can cultivate by knowing that, then the conceptualizations, like clouds, become self-liberated. Because one does not know the nature of such self-nature, one is covered by afflictions associated with ignorance, which is like darkness, and driven by that, one performs virtuous and non-virtuous actions. By the power of those actions, one takes birth in the three lower realms and among gods and humans, that is, in the five realms, and wanders in all places. Moreover, driven by afflictions, one commits sinful actions such as the five heinous crimes, and then one is tormented in the lower realms such as hell. With conceptualizations associated with ignorance, one performs virtuous deeds by virtuous actions, and then, in the heavenly realms and so forth, one is pleased and enjoys offerings with the resources of happiness such as enjoyment. However, they do not always remain in the lower realms, nor do they always remain in the heavenly realms, because virtuous and non-virtuous conceptualizations alternate and accumulate karma alternately, and one is not satisfied with obtaining it once, one must experience it again and again.
